Don Pedro's Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Longview

Ordered a steak taco and chicken quesadilla. Both were good. Not great, but a but better then average. Quesadilla was fairly large.

My other half ordered the nacho platter that came with a taco (she chose chicken). She is semi vegetarian (yes I know she just ordered chicken!), So she ordered her nachos with no meat. The waitress brought out just her nachos, then returned a few minutes later with her taco and then returned again with my food.

The tacos were quite good, a solid 8.5. But now we get to the issue; the nachos. They were ordered with no meat (depsite the posted price including meat) and no sour cream. No discount was offered for choosing no meat, but that was not expected per say.

What was expected was to have nachos that had more then a slight dribble of canned beans on the top of the chips. The chips had some sort of canned nacho cheese on the base, the dribbling of canned beans, some cold non melted shredded cheese, and then a massive amount of guacamole. I have honestly had much better nachos at the Taco Time in my local gas station. The portion was large,but that was assuming you would actually want to eat them.

We were extremely disappointed in the nachos, especially for the asking $9.xx with the meat removed. The good tacos sort of offset the nacho issue, but we will not plan...

ALWAYS CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE LEAVING!!! Because if you just trust them to get your order right and it's wrong, you're basically SOL if it's a drive for you to go back... I order 4 breakfast burritos every other sunday for my work crew from there and the staff is nice which is why this still gets 2 stars instead of just one, but today they gave me the wrong order and I work in woodland so I didn't notice until I got to work. I go there all the time so i wasn't too upset, but i called to see if i could get the burritos tomorrow morning but was told no... I have to get them today or not at all.. I'm at work until 7 tonight and I'm not really planning on eating 4 breakfast burritos for dinner or saving them for tomorrow for them not to be fresh anymore.. I would just like to be able to get them tomorrow I wasn't originally upset and I know other places allow you to get the food the next day if they mess up so I'm just annoyed I have to get it...

Don Pedro's is our go to Mexican food place. They are very consistently good. We have been here many many times. So they pass our three strikes rule. I usually get a combo burrito or the all meat burrito. I've had the carnitas and the carne molida in my burrito. My wife usually gets three street tacos, which are on tortillas and they're about 4" in size. She likes them with the carne molida. If I get the all meat burrito I like to get a side of rice and beans with it. They are always good as well. My wife has gotten the breakfast burritos here many many times and is always happy with them. Their burritos are always very large and filling. We don't usually ever get drinks here because we take our meal home to eat. We always go through the drive-thru. The staff here that we order from is always on top of things and very nice. There are a few that are our favorites. However all the staff that we have ordered from here are always personable,...
