Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Longview

I love Dutch Bros! As a former Oregon native I literally grew up with it. So imagine my excitement when I heard that Dutch would expanding into the Longview area!

I should say right off the bat, quality and service are great! The menu is just as great as I remember, likewise all the employees (lovingly nicknamed Broistas) take you through the entire process with a fun and friendly demeanor! In my eyes, Dutch Bros is and always has been one of those 5 star coffee places.

The only reason I don’t give Dutch its deserved 5 stars is because of the current wait times. As someone who’s had a LOT of Dutch bros in his life, I’ve come to associate it with speed and quality, that quick place to grab coffee in your morning commute. Sadly that’s not the case here, in terms of speed that is. Wait times regularly hover around 30 minutes or more at times which, for a location that’s primary focus is drive-thru coffee, is a little too long to justify when you’re in a rush. If I wanted to spend 30 minutes or more on my coffee run I would go to a proper sit down coffee shop like Silver Grizzly.

It’s really sad to me to find myself skipping Dutch for other places simply because I can’t justify the time spent on my morning commute when the wait time could vary so drastically. It’s my hope that this all comes down to a possible lack of experience with the employees at this fairly new location. The Dutch bros that I grew up with have been around a long while (some for 10 years or more) so they’ve had plenty of time to really perfect the art of drive thru coffee.

It is still well worth it if you can catch them during a break in the crowd, and if you do many delicious caffeinated offerings await you! If the staff manage to cut down those wait times the Longview Dutch Bros will absolutely become one of those 5 star,...

This is my third time. The previous two times were fine. This time was horrible. It was raining so they couldn't take orders at the cars. Rain is absolutely NOT their fault. They can not stand in the rain, we understand, and we know it'll be longer.

BUT because of the design of their drive, we and several others were STUCK in line for an HOUR...1 hour and 10 minutes, to be exact. I would HIGHLY SUGGEST when it rains, to get cones and block off the outside lane so you only have a single lane. This could be a horrible situation if someone had an emergency, needed to get out of line, but was trapped in that lane for an hour. They had double the people inside than the local coffee shops who only have 3-4 but dutch bros was 3x slower. The drinks are good and the people...

I absolutely love Dutch Bros. I’m a die hard fan. It’s my favorite coffee and I love the Rebel drinks. However, this morning did NOT go well. This location is extremely slow. I got there at 7:15 not needing to be at work til 8. I had to leave the line and call to be refunded my coffee because I was going to be late to work. I sat in that line for 35 minutes before having to leave. I don’t understand it because 7 Brew is not that much different & I can get through that line super fast. This was a huge let down. I decided to go get my coffee during my lunch break but the line was even longer than it was this morning & I knew I didn’t have time. So I went to 7 Brew instead. I truly hope this location gets it figured out because I hate to not be a loyal...
