Update: This restraunt used to be one of my favorites, my brother went there about a month ago, an had there fajitas, I had the left overs, an they were clearly overdone. Me an my bf went to the new location an I was shocked at how barren the atmosphere was. New and clean, but literally zero feeling of being in a Mexican restraunt, or any personality at all. If anything,it gave off Chinese restraunt vibes. I came mainly for desert, ice cream specifically, ended up ordering beans, guacamole, and fried ice cream. It's like 6 something for small serving of guacamole, with zero flavor. Had to practically dump salt on it an ask for lime for it to be edible. The ice cream was clearly old an frost bitten so we sent it back an they offered a refund. They used to have great chips, but they must've changed recipes cuz these are thicker, with no or very little salt an flavor. The salsas still great. The real issue, is they didn't take off the ice cream on the tab, an when I pointed it out, they said they did, an it appeared as though they did, but after adding it up an look8ng closely they deducted 6.25% not $ so it was a 1$ something off. They said they corrected it after bringing it up again, the receipt looked correct, ran my card, looked at the charge receipt, an seen that they charged my card the full amount, so I brought it up a third time, they had to refund my card an run again. An I'm still waiting for it to be corrected on my card. The waitress was friendly, but clearly is still learning, doesn't math well, an wasn't as attentive as I prefer since we also waited a long time for her to notice we were ready. I used to really like this place, so I hope this isn't the new norm. I hope to see them work on the the new building an give it a more welcoming Mexican restaurant vibe, work on some training of the systems, an the food.
Best margaritas, fantastic food, big enough portions to share or have left overs, awesome salsa. Great atmosphere,...
Read moreTook my dad there for his birthday today. Worst idea. Though our waitress was nice and. They were clearly understaffed it was still bad. We asked for things we never got and well as I actually had to get up and look for her or try multiple times to flag her down for things. The meat was burned on my dads plate and almost non existent on the others. Asked for boxes and after several mins of waiting finally got them myself. The man sitting next to us ordered an ice tea and after 20 mins was brought a hot tea and ignored after that. $3 for a single cup of hot tea and bad service. The other man sitting next to us ordered a salad to go when he placed his original order. And was still waiting for it when we left. Asked to speak to the manager who did say they were short staffed (not that she was helping on the floor to cover the problem) and when tried to verbalize my grievances I was shut down by her rudely saying "you're not hearing me right? I said we are short a waitress. And our food is amazing" I said this clearly isn't going anywhere and when I went to leave she said "there are plenty of other Mexican restaurants in town" basically saying I can go else where if I don't like it. If they don't care about my business I won't be back. I wasnt planning on reviewing the service until the manager was so rude. Poor service happens. But being treated disrespecrfully by someone you juat gave your money to is unacceptable. Please do as the manager told me and take your business to...
Read moreWent for lunch. We were seated immediately. The restaurant is very clean, with the exception of hvac vents. The tabletops are made from slab wood, making a nice impression. Drinks were ordered, and upon getting the drinks, we ordered a fish taco plate and a chicken salad. The waitress was very nice. I asked if the fish was fried and was told yes. The meal arrived 5 minutes later. I noted that the fish (tilapia) was grilled. There were two fish tacos on the plate. Each taco was served on corn tortillas with melted cheese. It was topped with pico de gallo (no tomatoes), with very little cabbage, onion, and cilantro. The fish had little flavor. Both cheese topped refried beans and spanish rice were plain. The waitress did not ask how the meal was nor was attentive for drink refills. My wife had the chicken salad with blue cheese dressing. She commented that the dressing was very weak with little taste. The size of the salad was fair. The grilled chicken was placed on top of the salad and wilted the lettuce. Pricing is at market and there was...
