Louisiana Cajun Cafe & Daiquri’s — Restaurant in Longview

I gave 4 stars overall, we went on a Friday night and when we got there there was about 6 tables and it took 58 minutes to get our whole order out. 7 of us were eating 3 kids and 4 adults. Appetizers came out last which made me scratch my head. They serve bottle pops and you get one with your mill for .99 cents and any agter that it cost $2.50 after that. I was a little irritated about that considering my kids spent an hour waiting for food and I didn't think that was right. Overall the food was good I was expecting more cajun food like pastas but it is basically a fast food place with margaritas out the rear. The atmosphere was very very loud, it was very hard to hear each other talk. It ended up being like a bar or club pretty much. It is not a family environment. Don't go here if you are wanting a quick meal as it does take awhile to get food. The manager did offer the kids ice cream as a courtesy because it took so long for the food. For singles and couples I don't think this is a bad place to go but not for family in my opinion, but it is just my opinion. Been there trired it but just not...

I paid for a Long Island Iced Tea and for some reason was given a cup of sweet tea. When I explained to the girl at the window that it was a regular sweet tea and I just wanted her to fix it for me she told me they don't do refunds (which I was perfectly fine with because there was a sign on the wondow telling me that before I even ordered and I didn't want my money back I just wanted the drink I ordered) and she could not fix it. She argued with me that there was liquor in it but refused to even smell the cup and see that it was just a sweet tea. I have been a HUGE fan of this place and sang it's praises to EVERYONE since they first opened. I patronized this business at least 2-3 times a week every week since they opened and I will NEVER go back because of something that could have been fixed with GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Went to try it out & give a review they did NOT disappoint. Ordered cheeseburger, wings, fish, and chicken tenders. A 20oz bottled drink comes with the meal and for kids meal u can get an apple juice. NOW lets get into the FOOD! Everything including the fries were seasoned to perfection. Fish and wings sauced perfectly and the seasonings on tho burger was great as well. Everything came out HOT all at once. The chicken tenders were juicy now with those I wish they were seasoned like everything else.
