DO NOT go to this location, we ordered our food through the app with plenty of time passed to pick up our food. Pulled up to the drive through and the guy didn't even take our order on the intercom so we just pulled up behind the vehicle in front of us.
Once we got to the window we informed the guy of our order we placed online, there was no "hey how can I help you" or "what would you like the order". He just looked at us with a blank stare and didn't say anything, we had to intiate the conversation and tell him our order. He just said ok and shut the drive thru window.
It took them about 30-40mins to fulfill our order and once we received our order we were missing a drink and told the non chalant guy about it and once again just looked at us with a blank stare. Then asked us what would we like, we would like the drink we ordered and then he tell us they're not making any frozen drinks. So after we just ended up getting a different drink we proceeded to drive off and that's when we noticed that we are order had multiple issues missing chicken wings and one of the sandwiches were wrong.
People mess up, understandable but when we went back in order to not go back to the drive thru again we parked and proceeded to go inside to get the order fixed. Suprise for us the door was locked, keep in mind it was only 6:40pm. Why are the doors locked if you have dine in available!? So we had to go back in the line once again and wait for another 20 mins to wait and get our order fixed.
Once again the guy in the window with another blank look on his face with no customer service waiting for us to say something. We finally got our order fixed and was still wrong, at this point we said forget it and got some of it refunded through the app.
Maybe they having a bad day but looking at the other reviews this seems to be common issue with the staff there having attitudes and no customer service. Regardless of the situation you still make an effort to provide customer service. We still gave them grace and didn't give them attitude even though they weren't deserving of our grace. Whoever owns this location really need to look at these reviews and have some tough conversations with the staff here. When we arrived a worker was outside the store vaping and she told us - sorry you have to use the drive through - the lobby is closed. As we were moving around to drive through - we were then approached by 2 other employees - one had a drive thru headset on. They were pointing at us and talking to each other. We rolled down the window to ask what’s up? And the person said you parked really close to my car - if I needed to get in my car I might not be able to open my door. I don’t think I will be back. I felt like we were not wanted there as customers and was also worried that we would not get good service since they were already upset with how we parked. It is unprofessional to stand at the front door vaping with the door locked to the lobby. And even more unprofessional to approach a vehicle in a threatening manner. They acted like they were ready for a fight. It was a bad experience. Please just do better! It was my sons birthday. And he wanted Popeyes - because he loves the food. We ended up going to Chicken Express in Gladewater! By the way - we had no intention of parking too close to someone else’s vehicle. And we were in the process of moving the truck anyway - because we were not allowed in the lobby anyway. This is a bad review and I did not even eat there. Read moreI refuse to give any stars. We went there last Saturday night. We ordered 2 of there big chicken strip combos. We asked for one regular and one spicy. Then we ordered 2 spicy chicken sandwhich combos. We were told we would have to wait for the chicken to be made. Ok no problem. We waited over an hour to 1. Receive cold food. 2. Order completely wrong. 3. Handed a drink holder full of sugar and told to make our own sweet tea. We told the lady who brought us our food that the order was all wrong. She said go back thru drive thru because going back and forth was bad for her knees. Needless to say order was never was right. Also tried to charge us for the mayonnaise that goes on the spicy chicken sandwhich because it wasn't on ours. Yet that's what we ordered. Why would we pay extra for it? I made a complaint that night with customer service. Today Ms. Williams who I'm guessing is the head manager called me. She apologized and said she marked down what we had gotten clearly to be read by employees. That we were to go back any time and get it remade. We decided to go back tonight due to lack of anyone wanting to cook. Then guess what same lady at drive thru from last time. First she tries to charge us for the meal.
