This place took our delivery and took our money...... Gave it to the some incompetent delivery driver that said they delivered it to our house....... They never did because we have been hit her watching the entire day the computer said it was dropped off we asked for photographic proof they did not or could not provide it....... They could not reach the so called delivery driver..... We had a given a $20 tip in advance but that was our mistake because we are generous people and we don't think about getting burnt like this...... They never were able to get in touch with the driver they were not able to provide photographic proof..... And all they did was said to a handicap couple which is us that if we want to load up come down there get the order repoed they will give it to us but they are not going to give back the $20 tip that we were foolish enough to give in advance, they never even offered an apology per. Unless I feel like we have been compensated properly or at least a written apology with our $20 tip money given back...... I will spend the last few years of my life that I have making sure people do not use Sam's club delivery service this was not just incompetent this was rude this was absolutely hateful for the way things have been dealt with about this issue. So I wait an apology and a refund of least...
Read moreI must disclose that Sam's is my favorite chain store. I especially appreciate the environment. The whole establishment operates on value in the money.
A few tips will help a person make the most out of the experience.
First, don't be cheap on buying a membership. One might be tempted to just spend $45 for the annual fee to get in the door; however, I did that my first time and regretted not forking over the $100 for the upgraded membership from day one. Keep in mind that a Sam's Club membership pays off over time.
Second, be prepared to intelligently comparison shop for items one consumes regularly: soft drinks, coffee, toilet paper, disposable plates, paper towels, etc. We generally try to buy two of a staple item, and then replace one when the second one is opened. This practice seems to increase stability while decreasing stress in our home. On this point, a little cost-volume-profit analysis will go an immense distance in earning savings.
Third, be cognizant that shopping bags are no provided free of charge because cutting out the cost of shopping bags is part of the savings passed along to the purchaser.
After one completes the transaction, keep the receipt handy because the employee at the door will need to scan it on...
Read moreI’ve never had a problem with the location until I went in one day to warranty a car battery. I left it charging over night and my car still wouldn’t turn over but started fine when I used another one. So obviously it’s a bad battery. The guy with shaky hands tested it with a multimeter and said they couldn’t warranty it because it had over 12V and said nothing was wrong with it. I told him to test it with an actual battery tester because it could be a bad cell or the CCA’s too low. He said you can’t check the cells on those batteries. After a couple minutes of going back and forth a young female manager came who knew nothing about batteries and said they’d exchange it but with no warranty on the new one. I had to choice but to take it like that as I was frustrated with the service.
So for those needing to warranty car batteries in the future, drain the battery as much as you can before going in there because these guys have 0 clue on what they’re doing. Hope yalls experience is...
