Newer place in Longview, lots of competition opening for seafood boils. Overall, I am very pleased. The seasoning (mighty combo) was extremely impressive. They have 5 spice levels, and they are all accurate, so you won't have to worry about your flame being off. Flavor was good as well. But what impressed me most was the levels to which everything was boiled and steamed. Oysters were spot on with medium steam order. For those who have had a lobster tail, you know that you have to get it just right for the meat to pull right off the shell, and it did. And the corn on The cob blew me away; Didn't even have to get aggressive with it; just sort of just fell off when you bite down. The only reason I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5 is service. It's not bad service, but it seems that the staff is undertrained, and in some cases rude. I overheard a server being extremely rude, and almost vulgar to a table behind ours. My server was nice, but didnt shake our boil bag before setting it on the table. Weeding out bad wait staff and training good ones is how you're gonna get more business. Food is spot on, prices are good, focus on service, and get that liquor license. Open too long not to have it. I will come back! (Pictured: 1 pound blue crab, corn, potatoes, sausage, lobster tail headless imported shrimp, mighty seasoning with medium spice level.)

First time trying this place. The atmosphere is great. Its a beautiful restaurant. Quaint. We had LONG wait times in between seeing our server, even when the restaurant was almost empty. He forgot things a few times and when he’d leave if we asked for something it was at least 10-15 minutes or more before he brought whatever it was or we finally had to ask someone else. But he was nice. The crab plate tasted good with the butter garlic flavor. The picture is the $60 king crab plate. I’m not sure if I would ever spend that much for that plate again. We ordered chicken tender basket for the kids. The tenders were tiny. For dessert we had cheesecake and a funnel cake. The cheesecake wasn’t any good and the funnel cake was tiny and overcooked. Desserts get 👎 As we were leaving almost 2 hours after we arrived, I noticed there were spills in the middle of the floor in the walkways where we were sitting and right in front of the bathroom that were left there for a while. I think this place has potential. I would definitely go back. But I just won’t get the king crab. I think I could have had the regular crab and been happy. Just wanted to try something new. From pictures, I thought the crab would be larger. And I’d hope the next time we don’t have such long waits in between seeing the server

It was our first time there when I took my mother for lunch. We had a very nice dining experience. Gabby was our server and the general manager was Tammy. They were both very helpful in explaining the dishes to us and showing us what needs to be done with the boil bags and bucket. We ordered the fried calamari and crab cakes for the appetizers. I liked that the fried calamari was not very greasy. My mother was happy that the crab cakes were not salty. Then my mother ordered the entree combo with the snow crab legs, corn, and potatoes. I ordered the combo with the sausage, shrimp, corn, and potatoes. We preferred garlic butter with mild spiciness for our dishes. My mother, who seldom finishes her plate, nearly finished her lunch! I was the one who needed take-home boxes for my entree and appetizers. I enjoyed my tasty entree as well, but couldn't finish it all. Gabby was very attentive and inquired often if we needed anything. Sadly, we didn't have room for dessert, but hopefully, next time, I will try their cheesecake. I wish the Mighty Crab success as they serve the Longview area.

We tried Mighty Crab for the first time, and overall, I’d say it was a very good experience. First of all, and maybe most importantly, I want to say that our server, JAYLEN, was awesome! He was very warm and friendly, and didn’t make us feel stupid when he pointed out that we buried our tools in the bucket underneath a pile of trash and crab/lobster shell pieces. 😂

My wife and both ordered the Friday special, medium heat, with the house seasoning (can’t remember the name, but it was garlic, lemon pepper, and Cajun seasoning combined). It was VERY good!

My daughter ordered the shrimp basket from the kids menu, which bring me to the one negative aspect of our visit. The basket came with two pieces of shrimp, which is noted on the menu, but I figured that they must be pretty large shrimp. When the food arrived I was pretty disappointed. They were medium shrimp, at best, so for a kid who LOVES shrimp, this left her feeling a bit down. She loved the flavor, but just wished she had more. The kids menu states it is for ages 12 and under. My daughter is nine, and would’ve left the restaurant feeling hungry had Mom and Dad not shared their meals. I can’t see how a 12 year old would be satisfied with that amount of food.

All things said, we had a good first experience. We will likely visit again in the future, and I can imagine we’ll order the same meals, but swap out the kids meal for something a little more...
