Updated (9-2-2024, 12:45) - So, it just went from bad to worse. I was "browsing", not ordering on the Wendy's app. When browsing, it says a Jr Hamburger is $0.99. When you go into the order mode, it says $1.69. Hmm. I called this restaurant and asked the question. The young lady asked her manager, and the manager said, "tell them to call customer service about the app" (I could hear her speaking in the background). So, the remainder of that note is for that ridiculous manager. I don't work for Wendy's, I will never work for Wendy's. When you have a Wendy's problem, do what they pay you for...fix it. When you don't, the app isn't the problem, you are!
Previous visit (2023) - Really bad experience. I'm standing in line watching a lot of people more or less walking around not doing much. Their clothes are not clean and the equipment has grease all over. Then, a manager tells the guy taking frontend orders to just take two orders, make two orders before taking another order. I've already been in line for about 10 minutes and they had only taken two orders since I got there. There are 8 people in line and I am 4th. Read moreWent there Tuesday night like we usually do after church...it was about 9:15 pm. Our order was taken by an extremely rude young girl. She was mumbling where you could hardly understand what she was saying. She was obviously mad because we were in there so late. After rudely taking our order she said in a quiet voice “is it alright if we put this in a TO GO bag because our lobby is closing soon?” I said no ma’am we are eating here! It’s 9:15 pm not 10 pm!!!!!And I asked the manager is it alright if we eat here? He said of course. Not knowing what she must have just told us. If this is how you allow your rude employees to treat customers we will GLADLY go next door to your competitors at WHATABURGER! And also she was cussing like no bodies business. Saying the F word among other inappropriate talk. I would be ashamed if I had employees that represented my company like this. Pulled up to order and the manger was outside smoking on the phone talking about a previous customer he spoke with, telling them "I told that Bi** pull up to the second window" I started my order only two cars ahead of me. Waited 20mins for my food. After paying asked for a receipt from the worker at the first window, she said second window would give it to me. NEVER got the receipt. Finally got the food and the whole order was wrong. By that time they shut off the lights and drive thru closed.
