Dunkin' — Restaurant in Lorain

I cannot take how slow everyone at this Dunkin moves. It's quarter to 8 in the morning. I wanted to get breakfast before work, but I waited in line for 10 minutes and ran out of time. There was only one group of 3 ladies in front of me. By the time I had to leave the line, the ladies still were being asked for their order. People behind the counter could see the line was to the door but continued having very slow paced conversations with each other and walking around as if they had just woke up and were in their own kitchen. They also only had one register going. Everyone in line was aggravated.

I'm only writing this review because it is like this every time I go to this Dunkin. To me, Dunkin has the best Vanilla Chai, so I take a chance to hopefully start my day off with a smile. Sometimes I am the only one in line and I actually get my breakfast before I'm late for work, But I've had to walk out several times this year alone. The food and drinks are always great. But the staff is way too slow. It's breakfast, it's located in a fast paced location, but they move like their customers don't have anything to do in the morning.

Lorain Dunkin Donuts- Leavitt Rd and Cooper Foster Park Rd.

Ordered a mini cupcake themed ice cream cake on the 12th for my daughters CUPCAKE themed birthday on the 16th. Gave Sophia the cake number the website told me to give when I ordered, the colors I wanted and what I wanted written on the cake.

When paying for my $40 9” cake I didn’t realize instead of cupcakes the cake maker decided to put scoops of ice cream in cupcake liners around the cake and by the time I drove my 25-30 minutes home the ice cream was melted all over my daughters cake.

The manager Angela said they don’t do refunds, offered a cake that won’t be ready for another 3 days remind you we were singing happy birthday on the 16th the day I picked up the cake. A few days later she left me a message saying she’ll write me down for a dozen donuts or a quart of ice cream. First of all that doesn’t add up to the money or time I lost.

No one called me to make these accommodations what so ever. The story goes on and I still want my refund!

Love this Dunkin for how the staff is working as a team to have orders together and get the long line of cars through quickly. The worst part of this Dunkin is the location. It always has been a terrible spot that has not had accommodating space for cars to line up at busy times without being in the road. Having the one entrance blocked off has made things a lot better with the line going much more smoothly but I wish this location would have found a way over the years to be able to accommodate the volume of customers who utilize the drive thru at the same time of day. Maybe someone can engineer a better parking lot format? Still will go to this place even with the slight struggle and worry of car accidents for people being unaware of their surroundings. Love having a special treat for the family every once in a while before...
