Fresh in five Halal food — Restaurant in Lorain

I recently tried takeout from Fresh in Five Halal in Lorain, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma Sandwich, Chicken Fajita Bowl, and Chicken Shawarma Bowl.

The Chicken Shawarma Sandwich was fantastic and quickly became my favorite. The flavors were well-balanced, and the sandwich was prepared to perfection. The Chicken Fajita Bowl and Chicken Shawarma Bowl were okay, with a bed of rice, but they didn't quite match up to the sandwich in terms of taste and satisfaction.

The atmosphere is functional, with a couple of tables for dining in, but it’s not a proper dine-in restaurant. It's more like a food court located at the rear end of a convenience store, which is connected to a gas station outside. It’s inside the convenience store with limited seating. Everything is fried fresh after ordering so it does take some time to be ready. We opted to create our own bowl with add-ons we liked. The slender, extra long grain buttery rice is good enough to be eaten on its own. Chicken wings and fries were crispy. The 10-pc wing order was polished off by the person who ordered it and was their favorite. Everything was seasoned well and the sauces complimented the food nicely. The boneless wings were split chicken tenders. The crispy fried chicken in the burger was chicken tenders and it also had in-house made coleslaw along with lettuce, tomato slice, and red onion.
