Two stars because I do feel bad for the woman working in the store. I worked in food service for ten years. But usually when we order from here it’s a super long wait. Tonight (Monday) we ordered one pizza and a side (online, with tracker). Order was ready for 45 minutes and not delivered. Was told there was one driver, but she would make sure our pizza went out next (we ordered 2 hrs previously). Another 45 minutes go by, now there’s no driver. Yet we had to call to find this out. I guess we would have never known?
Similar issues to other people on here: if you know you’re short staffed, don’t cook the pizza so that it sits there for an hour and a half before delivery. Don’t just suggest that we come pick the pizza up when delivery fees and tip to the nonexistent driver have already been paid. Yes, Los Alamos is small and we could drive to get it but at this point it’s just the principal of the thing.
No offer to refund order or even to remake after it has been sitting there for an hour and a half. Maybe the woman in the store doesn’t have this authority, but management should hire people they trust and train them to rectify situations like this. Is there no manager on duty? Is it her? I have so many questions. One example of how businesses in Los Alamos can offer bad service and get away with it because there are so few options.
This really needs to be addressed by management. Hire more people, pay them more, have a system in place to communicate with customers about wait times and staffing issues (the phone number is clearly on the order), but don’t assume you can do whatever you want because you’re the only pizza place in town.
Edit to add: just picked up order. Bad night to order the oven baked dip. Unless you like a solid block of cheese.
Edit AGAIN to one star: the woman was the manager but we had to explain why it was messed up to pay $10 for delivery and then still have to...
Read moreAs I just received an email from management about what they could do to improve and get a 5 star review from me...and I will give you guys 5 stars. Happily. I'm not sure what everyone else's issues were to rate so low, couldn't be the fact it's a bunch of pretentious lab workers.. but, hey, to each their own.. haha..
Here's what I would change... Nothing. Everytime my gf orders a pizza with or without bread sticks, I love the bread sticks... We always save the driver and the store the hassle of having it delivered. We always pick it up. Everytime we have walked into the store, they crew is always happy. We are greeted everytime we go in. They always have been courteous and kind. They always tell us to have a great night. Now, as for the food goes.. I have never had a complaint about it. It's always hot, it's always done when the tracking system says our food is completed. The ingredients are always good. As well, yes, I absolutely know it gets busy and sometimes and yet, they make sure the work stations are clean. Yes, even the flour is cleaned up. My gf and I picked up a pizza last night as a matter of fact, and again, it was amazing. We took it back to our place, about an hour away, and it was still delicious. Wish I had the bread sticks to snack on on the road. Lol. Told ya, love them cheesy bread sticks. ❤️❤️
I wouldn't change anything. You guys are doing an amazing job.
Keep up the great work. I'll be back in the next week or so to get more pizza from you guys!!
Thank you for being one of the very few places who take pride in the...
Read moreThis was the WORST experience I have had ever had. We ordered 15 pizzas for a hockey team. The guy called me immediately and shared he could cancel my order or it would be a minimum of 2 hours because I should have placed a big order like this the day before. I asked him to find a solution to get the order complete in a reasonable time since we have 16 hungry 8-9 year olds who needed to have food. The guy proceeded to complain, where I suggested to him I could cancel the order and have each family order 2 pizzas each and then instead of one big order we can break it into small orders. He still said, they would not complete any orders from our hotel for over 2 hours then. I even suggested if they they got started with our ordered we would give them an even bigger tip than the $30 already added to the order-- we still were not successful. We even called back to check on the order and ask if we came to pick it up would it make it easier for them, instead of seeing we we're trying to help them, they proceeded to yell at me saying they would just cancel my order. I went to the store to pick it up and the 5 employees there were all the rudest folks ever. They finally made the pizzas 2 hours later. To Domino's mgnt: suggest to hirer a manager to train these kids to have a sliver of customer service. Get rid of the bad egg there, or terminate them all and restart your hiring process. This happened on 29Dec evening. I've been in customer service for 30 years and this is the worst I've seen. I would prefer to give a...
