What a find - I can't believe we'd never been here before as it's right across from our office. The servers here were all really attentive and friendly. They answered questions about the menu and had good recommendations/knowledge about allergies. We sat on the patio, which had great views and some heaters so it didn't get cold at all even after the sun went down. We also didn't realize how early they closed until we left and people were super nice/accommodating and we didn't feel rushed out (sorry!).
The holiday drinks we had at HH were SO good. My friend got the "naughty nog" for the name but really enjoyed it. I had several of the cranberry ones. On the food side, the spinach artichoke dip was also the best I have ever had, and the GF flatbread that we got with it was perfect. The cajun seasoning on the fries wasn't very noticeable, but they were cooked well and tasty. The burrata with tomato and balsamic probably could've used a touch of salt to bring out the flavors more, but it was good as well. We're definitely coming back to enjoy the happy hour again next time we work in the office.
Update: I've been here many times over the last year and have consistently gotten the same great level of service and tasty food and drinks, all at a fair price (shocking to find in LA). They have seasonal offerings for both food and drink, which keeps the relatively small menu fun. Love this spot! A must visit if you're at the Nordstrom or looking for a chill but delicious spot...

Yeah, I know, it's a department store! Why the heck am I eating here when I could just as quickly trip and fall into Din Tai Fung, Crack Shack, Shake Shack, Tocaya, Eataly or one of many interesting joints in the food court? It's the reason why I've marked them down! Why would Nordstrom BOTHER to run a restaurant that serves bland and overpriced food and waste their investors' money to pay talented wait staff to be bored? Convert the space to sell more product, or spend a little extra dough to get a young, talented chef to try something new and tasty to draw people in! You've got stiff competition for food everywhere in this area, do it right, or not at all! Being a bottom feeder for people unwilling to wait for a table at Din Tai Fung ain't working, otherwise your restaurant would at least have a queue forming every time Din Tai Fung's was wrapped around...
Read morePromising until my mom hurt her teeth with couple of small hard pieces (not edible, prolly bone pieces) in the spaghetti and meatballs! The most unsettling part of this experience is that the server and Karina the manager were far from empathetic and/or apologetic considering the situation. They acted like we were at fault and we were the inconvenience. The server even got really rude at us at the end of the dinner. Very unpleasant and uncomfortable experience. I decided to let you know in hopes that this don't happen again and save you from a terrible experience at...
