Benny Boy Brewing — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I just got back from Benny Boy Brewing and it was pretty fun! This place gets the whole relaxed and fun atmosphere spot on. This is marketed as a brewery, cidery and backyard beer garden and it does it all justice. It feels like you have walked into the perfect place to just sit and have a good time with friends, to relax after a long day or just enjoy the magic of being under the stars.

Starting with the drinks, you can order a pint of beer straight from the tank, or if you prefer something different, you can order a cider from the barrel. I got both and they were spot on. The choice is vast and you can tell that they are passionate about what they are brewing here.

The pop-up vendors they’ve got coming through are pretty good. It’s a bring your friends kind of place whether you’ve got a small group or a full on party of 40. The space is huge, open, and for some reason, it feels like your own backyard, only better.

I would not recommend Benny Boys Brewery to anyone and I would never return to Benny Boys. For starters: -The beer there was not good. The "mexican lager" was terrible to the point where I couldn't even finish it. -I tried another beer to see if there was a better flavor and it was just as terrible, I ended up trying a cider to get some actual flavor. -At the same counter where you order and get served beer, there was a cat. I dont know how sanitary that is but a cat should not be on the same counter when my beer gets placed and served to me. The bartender even pet the cat and thought it was ok. -The bartender at the cider section was a lady w a lot of tattoos and had a bad day or just bad customer service. First time I have not left a tip in years. -Dont try the BBQ, me and my friend got sick off of it. He had it worse than me where he was up puking from it. Dont go...

My brother happen to see this place off the 5 freeway so we gave it a shot. I really liked the atmosphere. There is plenty of seating and they have heat lamps outside for when it’s cold. They have 2 sides. One side for beer and one side for cider. If you get a snakebite you will have to go to both sides. The Snakebite I had was delicious. I also had the Michelada and the German Black Lager. Michelada was just right and the Black Lager was very smooth and went down easy. Only thing that was a hassle was parking.
