Big Bar — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Whether you want coffee or a good mixed drink, this place has it all. The building has a little house vibe. One room is a cute, old fashioned cocktail bar and the other is a small cafe with a delicious cake window. The seating is spread out over the house and garden. The house itself is all wooden with vintage chairs and is dotted with articles about the place. The garden is full of trees so every table feels hidden and private. They also have twinkle lights and heaters all around. I went at night and the kitchen closed by ten, so I only got to taste the small bar menu. I ordered fries, cheese puffs and crab toast. The portions were nice and the food was pretty good. We finished with a sweet oatmeal cookie that just hit the spot. I recently revisited and was wondering why I didn't come at least every month here. This place has one of the best cocktails and vibes, but I always appreciate the bartenders' level of service and especially huge shout out to Daniel. Daniel took care of us with utmost care with a single goal of making me and and my friend happy. My friend had a pretty particular taste and Daniel listened in and went out of his way to make a delicious drink. Definitely love talking to the other folks at the bar. This neighborhood gym in Los Feliz is just wonderful. I can't say enough great things about not only the location but the staff as well. The food is magnificent and the cakes and desserts are way over the top so save a place in your stomach because you won't want to miss out on any of it. They have a daily happy hour Monday through Friday from 2:00 to 7:00 with $5 beers and $8 cocktails along with some great finger foods. In the front patio you sit under gorgeous trees and at night they light up. I give this five stars because it certainly deserves six. Make sure not to miss the big bar...
