This was on March 22, 2024 @ 3:34PM and I'm barely reviewing it June 30, 2024. I've been debating if I should post it or not, due to the fact that I work in the Village as well and don't want them to treat me WORST after this review.
Here we go: Like mentioned before, I work in the Village and see my co-workers, along w/ clients/customers always walking around w/ "the Green Drink" and I wanted to try it to see what the hype was about. The hype was real. Matcha Tea is awesome!!
•1st time I was there, I ordered the Matcha (NO ICE), and a Salad w/ extra dressing. When I received my food, I was missing the extra vinaigrette I had ordered, so I asked the cashier if she had entered it on my order. She looked at me annoyed and asked someone else to get it for me. I UNDERSTAND THEY ARE ALWAYS VERY BUSY, so I didn't think much of it and walked away happy w/ my Matcha Tea.
•2nd time, I brought my son to also try the Matcha tea. Again, I asked for BOTH NO ICE PLEASE. When they called my order, I saw both drinks had ice. The same cashier that helped me the 1st visit I made was now making the Tea and when I politely reminded her that I had requested BOTH DRINKS WITH NO ICE..... again, she gave me that LOOK and grabbed a big spoon and took the ice out.
Once the ice was out, the teas were almost down to half the cup. I thought she would refill that missing part.
...yeah right!! She rudely slammed the cups on the counter & kept going.
I wanted to go off on her so bad ecause this was my 2nd time there and both times the same Asian girl treated me poorly. Since I was with my son; I walked away per his request. LOOK AT THAT PUCTURE I POSTED & TELL ME IF THAT'S...

One of the highlights of Cafe Dulce is their green tea donut, which features a rich matcha flavor that is both unique and satisfying1. These pastries are not only delicious but also beautifully presented, making them a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds.
In addition to their pastries, Cafe Dulce offers a variety of drinks that perfectly complement their baked goods. Read moreMy recent breakfast experience at Cafe Dulce in the USC food court was deeply disappointing and frankly, unacceptable. The most glaring issue was the shockingly inconsiderate behavior of the staff. In the middle of our meal, a staff member abruptly took chairs from right under us, forcing us to stand. This rude and disrespectful action compelled us to leave immediately, cutting our visit short.
Additionally, the overall service was remarkably slow, adding to our frustration. During what is usually a busy breakfast time, such inefficiency is particularly noticeable and inconvenient.
The cafe's seating situation was also dismal. Very limited seating was available, and the few spots that were, including the bar counter where we initially found space, were poorly maintained and unclean. The counter was stained and covered in cooking liquids, indicative of a lack of attention to cleanliness.
As for the food, the breakfast burrito I ordered was smaller than expected, which was disappointing. The only redeeming aspect of the visit was the coffee, which was actually quite good. However, this small positive was completely overshadowed by the unpleasant experience caused by the lack of clean seating and the appalling behavior of the staff.
In summary, while the coffee at Cafe Dulce might be commendable, the overall experience was ruined by slow service, inadequate and dirty seating, and, most notably, the disrespectful treatment by the staff. Such behavior is unacceptable in any customer service setting, and it's something that the management at Cafe Dulce needs to...
