Cake House — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Their pastries are freshly baked and simply delicious. Their baked goods are comparable to those I had in Korea, some better. Pricing seems reasonable and service was amazing. This place is usually packed with people chatting over coffee and pastries. If you go towards late afternoon, you’ll see many of the breads have run out. They seem to bake in small batches — which is a good sign (fresher!)

They don't speak English at all. It's very frustrating when you try to ask simple questions about cakes.

And because they can't understand English they much rather hang up on you than help you out over the phone.

Absolutely terrible...
