While approaching this taco truck, my eyes were immediately drawn to a large trompo stacked with layers of well-manicured adobo-marinated pork spinning around, reflecting a flame off of a glistening surface sweating with achiote-infused meat juices. Upon ordering an "Al Pastor Taco" here, the taquero will carve off thin slices of pork directly off of this upside-down mountain of meat into single corn tortillas and top it off with a chunk of pineapple. Aside from the customary onions and cilantro, ensure your taco has El Flamin's red sauce on it. This is a hypnotic, mouth-numbing salsa roja that complements and completes the al pastor pork, and the "secret sauce" that keeps this truck doing brisk business. It is indeed "flamin'" with a slow burn and long finish that will linger with you for a while. El Flamin's "Al Pastor Tacos" would be better with a more assertive marinade, so they do not reach the same heights as the al pastor served at Leo's or even the Ave 26 Taco Stand, but they are definitely in my "top 5" favorite pastor-style tacos in Los Angeles. As with the other two al pastor purveyors I mentioned, bagged corn tortillas are used here. But everything else is spot-on, and that sauce is the boss!

Their al pastor is a must-try if you want an authentic taco experience!!!! On the right, you see a cashier who takes cash only; to the left, you see ladies rolling and pressing tortillas one after another; to the farthest left, you see this juicy, perfectly marinated al pastor on 🔥 !! It’s quiet fascinating to see the al pastor guy slicing pineapple 🍍 and catch it with the tortilla on his other hand. It almost feels like the tortilla is magnetic. He’s an al pastor ninja!! Their sauces in general are spicy yet delicious! But be cautious and take little by little if you’re not super spicy tolerant. The line can get long but they also move quiet fast. All in all, go ahead and try it yourself 😋

The food is delicious they have a variety quesadillas, mulitas, tacos, different meats, salsas Ho! and fried quesadillas are the best they have a special separated truck to made them, I recommend el pastor meat, they have special menu for 4/20 some people complain about the owner for his social preferences because the trucks have signs where it says that everybody is welcome and I love that, everyone needs to feel that they appreciate their business this is my favorite truck around this area to eat and they closes at 4 am, after 2 am is the most busiest time

Such a LOOOOOOOONG wait for a lack-luster burrito.... And perhaps it's my fault because I came super hungry and sort of late...But it was 100% their fault that they didn't have most of the ingredients as advertised.

I got the Veggie Burrito (Rice & Beans, Lettuce, Tomato, Sour Cream, Shredder Cheese, Avocado, Onions & Cilantro) and was excited because I LOVE Avocado. But 30 mins after I ordered and actually received my food I bit into my burrito and realized they didn't add my avocado! A couple of my friends who ordered burritos also didn't get any avocado so I can only assume they were out. I would think they could have warned customers because that is a crucial ingredient to the tastiness of the burrito. Also they didn't add the sour cream and went light on the tomato.

So negative- LONG wait, OK burrito, and they didn't tell me what they didn't have. I would suggest sticking to the tacos! They are pretty inexpensive and great without the extras. My friend who ordered the tacos wasn't disappointed in the least.

They did experience a fry shortage for a while and a lot of ppl had to wait extra-long for their orders so I would be mindful of that and maybe order something like the tacos were it's a bit more simple. They do have an amazing menu with tons of great options but again ask before you buy.

Overall wasn't impressed but it has potential if you know...

Food wise I will give it a 4 stars because the meats here are good. Especially the Pastor meat that they serve outside with pineapple. I would give it a five star but the tacos are tiny and well at least they should be a bit more of a decent size. I am not asking for a full ordinary tortilla size. But hey, It would be reasonable to have a decent taco size tortilla. However, I do think that service wise, not entirely great. Unfortunately I use to go every sunday night after work, but the cashier is just a teen who clearly hates her job and feels thats she was forcibly place to do the job. I remember I had to repeat my order about three times. And apart from it I still got my order wrong. And since I told them if they can kindly fix my order this one employe from inside gave me this hate look. Honestly, unacceptable. As a customer she made me feel uncomfortable and I just did not want to be there any longer. Also the guy who prepare the pastor tacos on the outside was very arrogant. I love pineapple on my al pastor tacos and I asked him if he can charge me an extra side of pineapple slices and he rudely said, no I do not have enough. When clearly he had a fresh badge of a pineapple. Seriously, they need to fix their customer service attitude. Otherwise they will loose...
