Calif Chicken Cafe — Restaurant in Los Angeles

This location is by cedars Sinai hospital I went to get food for my wife for her last meal before she had to go on fluids for giving birth and we ordered salads and they gave no silverware or napkins and completely messed up half the order gave me the wrong wraps and salads too. Apparently I saw another review of similar experience from another unsatisfied customer wish I read the review before ordering. My advice is don’t bother with this place if you care about your meal. It’s is disgusting that someone would pack your food with no silverware or napkins and top top it off give you the wrong items if you don’t like your job don’t work there like a snake passive aggressively messing up peoples orders. Also can’t call in orders that’s discriminatory towards people with disabilities or elderly. Seriously hire some professionals or don’t open next...

Weekday lunch Plenty of people on the outside tables and a continuous (I mean continuous) stream of people either walking to driving to pick up their orders… The definition of LA fast casual in my opinion

I ordered in person after checking the menu and got the Melrose which was a wrap with chicken, avocado, cheese, greens, tomato & mayo

That’s it plus a side of Italian dressing.

It’s so simple yet so good!!

I also had their homemade lemonade which I recommend and I found a couple extra chicken wings in my to go bag when I finally sat down to eat which was a definite plus!!

Roasted chicken is a hard business simply because consistency is difficult. Getting moist juicy chicken is an art form. I only get take out, a whole chicken, and have ordered here on so many occasions, multiple times a month. That speaks volumes to the consistency. I don’t even buy chicken anymore to cook myself because the quality here is so good. As a person who loves to cook, the added bonus, having all the chicken bones to create stock is as good as the chicken itself.
