Pottery Studio 1 - Pottery classes and events — Local services in Los Angeles

Held a private work event for my team. The event itself was fantastic - the staff was amazing and the team loved it. However, the process of picking up our items after waiting weeks for them to be fired and glazed was terrible. We weren’t notified when they were ready. Most of my team is not local. You have to follow their instagram account to see when your order is ready. The company makes no direct attempt to let you know when your items are ready. This is unacceptable for a corporate customer. If you wait too long, your items are donated or discarded without warning. After spending over $2.3k on this event, we were able to recover 4 of our 16 items. Very disappointing. Changed a 5 star experience...

We had an amazing 2-hr pottery class here! Our instructors are very nice and have a lot of patience. The vibe is very relaxing and cozy. I feel like coming back again for another class.

The class is divided into 2 phases. First step is to do the clay on the rotating machine. Second step is to paint and decorate the pottery. We’re fisrt timer and it’s very easy to follow and very fun. There are a lot of inspirations in the store.

They take care of the firing after you’re done. The firing is not done yet so I’m excited to go back to pick up our potteries when they’re done. Parking is a bit hard to find but we managed to find some spots...

Super overpriced and misleading reviews

Date night is nothing like the pictures - it is very BASIC and they don’t even let you paint the pottery, it costs an additional $200 or so for a date night class to paint the pots. Moreover, our instructor was not very engaging and spent a lot of their time doing some chores - we would’ve received the same level of attention in a group class.

Skip this studio, and go to a group class which is way more fun. The 5 star reviews are misleading as they offer a free trinket for each review- I was also guilty of posting one but had to change it when I learned how much we...
