As you're coming out of the sensory aromatic bliss, you are greeted with the nicest smiles and genuine greetings welcoming you to California Fish Grill. The employees are megastars at what they do.

Their hearts, are definitely in their work. They go the distance to not only assist the customer with questions and or navigation of the kiosk. They make sure the customer is satisfied. The staff are on top of multitasking with the greatest of ease and keeping all components moving seamlessly.

I have a food allergies. They went above and beyond to confirm if an ingredient was / was not used in a salad dressing.

I have to acknowledge the ever helpful and accommodating staff: Tina, Reina, Melissa, Samuel and Josewe.

The restaurant is nestled in the heart of the eclectic and energized resurgent of East Hollywood/ Los Feliz Area.

The restaurant has outdoor patio seating and indoor seating. Great large store front windows allow our classic and enviable California sunshine to illuminate the interior of the restaurant just perfectly.

The warm tone of the wood table tops combine and mix nicely with the stainless steel and black decor and hardware.

Simple but amazing and not very expensive!

Sadly no mahi mahi today! They do serve it however!

They serve both wild caught and farm raised fish.

I ordered the swai and shrimp plate and tried the street corn and clam chowder.

They serve beer. I chose Pacifico!

My swai was good. The rice was good. The Caesar Salad was good. The beans were good. The shrimp skewer was very good. I chose Cajun style which was kind of underwhelming but good.

The clam chowder is good but has no veggies. The street corn is yellow and spicy which are both fails. Street corn is supposed to be white corn not sweet yellow corn.

OMG! This is our first time here and we were greeted by... first a, "WELCOME!!!" Then a... lovely lady named Gloria. She was the best!!! She immediately came to help us as we told her it was our first visit. She let us review the menu with helloooo amazing pictures to show you what you want to eat. I'm a visual person so the pictures were a big plus in my book. She then helped us place our order up front and showed us how to use the kiosk. You have that option, aswell as cash option available to you. The food came fast and it was so good! Like I'm talking feelings of beach but on Hollywood Blvd. The portions are big and we will definitely be returning.
