Huge thanks to Kim & Carmine for the exceptional white glove service from first booking the reservation all the way to the absolutely unforgettable meal! This was hands down some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had—no small statement considering I enjoy top-tier Italian every week at work back in Sarasota FL!! We started with a fresh and creamy burrata heirloom salad, perfectly paired with a refreshing Aperol Spritz. For the main course, we enjoyed both the chicken Marsala and the Sinatra-style chicken Parmigiana—elevated with rich bolognese, sautéed mushrooms, and peppers. Every bite was perfection. If you’re in Los Angeles, do yourself a favor and book a table at Carmine’s. An absolute must-visit!

Ordered takeout from Carmine’s on Santa Monica Blvd. I got the chicken parm, toasted ravioli, and tiramisu. The sauce on the chicken parm was solid, had that classic Italian-American flavor I had the spicy version, but the chicken itself was dry and overcooked. The toasted ravioli weren’t greasy, which was good, but they didn’t have much flavor. Tasted like something straight from a frozen bag. Definitely wouldn’t order them again. The tiramisu was excellent. Creamy, rich, and probably the only part of the meal I’d go out of my way to get again. Not a bad place if you’re nearby and want something familiar, but it didn’t blow me away. Just okay.

The chicken Dino was delicious. The toasted ravioli was excellent. The fettuccine Alfredo half order was yummy. The calamari fritte was just OK, a little under cooked. My guest had the chicken piccata which she enjoyed. Her lemon drop cocktail was refreshing. The Stracciatella soup was disappointing. The soup was bland. Overall a very enjoyable meal but I'm a big fan of Stracciatella and was let down today. Will return to try the other classics but will skip the Stracciatella.

Carmine's in West LA is a delightful culinary oasis that excels at providing an authentic Italian dining experience. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by an inviting atmosphere that exudes warmth and familiarity. The restaurant's ambiance is cozy and lively, making it the perfect spot for intimate dinners and gatherings with friends.

The highlight of Carmine's is undoubtedly its homemade pasta. Each dish showcases the kitchen staff's dedication and skill, with perfectly cooked pasta bursting with flavor. The menu offers a variety of classic Italian dishes, but the pasta stands out as the star. You will be satisfied with the rich, robust, and tangy pasta Bolognese.

Regulars know each other by name, and the friendly banter adds to the welcoming vibe. The bartenders are skilled and personable, ensuring that you have a great time whether you're enjoying a glass of wine or a handcrafted cocktail.

The staff at Carmine's are friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about providing excellent service. They make you feel right at home and are always ready with a smile and a recommendation.
