My experience with Jimi during my order inquiry at The Container Store, Westfield Century City, was incredibly disappointing. Why wouldn’t you contact the customer if a product is unavailable? The website allowed me to check out and charged my credit card, but apparently, Jimi doesn’t like to actually *work*. His unprofessional response, blaming the issue on my email not working, is one of the most irresponsible things I’ve heard—especially from someone who claims to be a manager. Now I have to make the trip there anyway because Jimi insisted I was wrong about my order, without making any effort to communicate that the item was out of stock. I have to purchase something else in place of the original item, and his unprofessional attitude is unacceptable. As I mentioned to him over the phone, he could’ve easily called me about the issue, regardless of the system, because that’s how customer service should work. Blaming it on an internal issue with my email is absurd. People like Jimi clearly don’t want to work anymore, and it shows.

This is a very large location with a great selection. Office, kitchen, garage and of course closets plus much more. They have it all covered. there was a sale with 25% off many items this weekend. Clearance section is in the back left corner. Prices were good, but selection was pretty thin. There seem to be good service in the store as the line got long they brought many new cashiers up to assist and the line moved very quickly. Parking near the AMC theater is a short walk to The Container Store. There are also many restaurants and a food court on the way. Although most of this mall is very high-end, there are many unique shops and restaurants including some specialty ice cream and gelato locations that are fun to try out. In the opposite corner of this mall is a newer establishment called Eataly. A must-see.

The store is good sized (we've been to some larger ones). There are so many thing at 5he Container store that you never knew you needed!🙂 We bought Elfa chest of drawers. We asked two diff staff to help find the right wood board for the top, they both said they would check in the back but never came back. Other than that we were able to find everything we wanted. The store is well laid out with wide gaps between the aisles.

Best sales people I have ever seen in a long time (America needs to bring back individual-to-individual customer service; the old neighborhood hardware store concept).

Fantastically trained staff and employees. These people are customer service focused and really takes it to the next level thanks to their "knowledge". Surely everyone at a store is trained to help a customer but it's different when the employees are knowledgable and having them takes the shopping experience to a different level.

My shelf designer was exceptionally experienced and I was just lucky getting a good sales lady but actually everyone in the store was exceptionally experiened. When I went back she was not there and an equally competent and professional person was there to assist (top down some of the best trained employees I have ever seen).

Fantastic experience. Better than Bed Baths & Beyond in terms of quality.

They blew me away on my first, second, third and fourth trip. There is a third and fourth trip because I enjoyed the shopping experience. This is no IKEA; where you feel the agony just thinking about going there for a return or exchange. I had to exchange a few items and...

Waited no less than 30 min for my single item mobile order that was supposedly “ready”. Complete waste of my time as I could’ve walked in and bought the item 10x over during the time I waited.

After about 15 min the cashier noticed two of us waiting for an extended time and radioed to learn that no one was covering order pick ups. After that a woman that had been there less than 5 min received her order. When I asked what was going on with our orders (after 20min) I was told that since they were so busy (they weren’t) they often fulfill in the opposite order of arrival! That’s ridiculous, but it shouldn’t have mattered because in the 30 min I waited there was only 2 other people with mobile pick up and one of them was stuck waiting just as long as me.

In the end about 3-4 employees asked what we were waiting for, but no one solved it until 30 min in. Very disappointed with this customer service and would suggest not to waste your time with mobile...
