Greedy and deceptive, that was the impression they left and what a shame. The food was actually pretty decent and the bartender was very sweet. Here’s my problem...
When a restaurant decides to add a “surcharge” because the mean old city and state forced them to pay their employees a reasonable rate and they choose to hide a surcharge for paying their employees rather than just raising their prices, the message I get is, “we really wanted to underpay our employees, but the government wouldn’t let us. So, rather than being honest about the increase in cost and raising our prices, we are going to put illegible writing at the bottom corner of the menu, so nobody can see it, and charge you more without you knowing it. But, it’s legal, because we did tell you. You won’t want to come back, because we were dishonest, but it was legal.
The pricing was reasonable even with the surcharge, but I don’t like dishonest businesses who seem to not want to pay their employees fairly. That’s enough reason for me to go elsewhere. Please do yourself a favor and avoid...
Read moreThis really is a bar in the Crown Plaza Hotel, but they have some great food so we love it. We really don't drink, but give me a French dip sandwich or a burger and we are very happy.
The service is really nice and it is fast. There are tables for you to dine at and a server will be with you right away. The menu is not huge, but everything on it is great.
They really go out of their way to make their food great so it is just not a bar--but if you want to see a game there, this is the place to be.
It is super clean. Parking is for a fee, but I recall them validating me last time.
This place is close to LAX and perfect if waiting for a plane or someone getting off one. The hotel is also super...
