Had an awful experience with United airline terminal 7 tonight. Our original flight is from Edinburgh to Newark on June 30th, and our original connect flight is UA2035 from Newark to LAX, departure at same day 5:40pm. First Flight was delayed and detoured due to weather, after many hours finally we arrived at Newark at 2am. And United airline rebooked our connect flight to next day 5pm. Till now, thereās no complaint at all, we saw everyone were trying their best to work things out. And we were very happy that finally we could got on our flight next day UA435 heading back home. We safely arrived LAX terminal 7, but our checked in bags didnāt traveled back with our flight. Went to desk asked for help, the staff whose name is Sicilla gave our family such a bad attitude, no apology during the whole conversation. And she made it sounds such our family fault that our bags didnāt come along with our flights. Been through the whole situation of UA162 on June 30th, itās literally consumed all my patience. None of us have any energy or patience to deal with another bummer of missed bags with Sicillaās bad attitude. Complaint for Sicilla is that she didnāt handle customer missing bags problem properly as her position, but not that she is being such a bad human. I assume that her position is representing United airline and resolve all bags problem. Unfortunately she was not there for us. Just an voice from an innocent United...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOk, let me start with the positives and praise all of the amazing United representatives that helped us during these covid times and thwn Ill write a little about the only negative that happened. To start, I want to say thank you super much to the following United workers who tirelessly helped us and other during New Years day. Nickerson Kimiko, Lisa Fajardo, and I believe Nancy Luu were the first to help us during the confusion that happened. Even with the absolute chaos that was unfolding that day, they were all very professional and helped us with our issues almost like the issue had happened to them as well! When we got done trying to fix the issues, they said their goodbyes and were almost always swept right into the next issue that was going on. I'd also like to shout out and thank La Jeanne S. for helping us out this morning as well, she also made it her dedication to help us to the best of her ability. I had laughed at the end because something went wrong and she apologized after helping our team get through the process, I could not believe after doing all that she still apologized because I was not upset at all! United, these team members rocked it yesterday and today and treated us like family, way to go!!
The only negative was we were told we needed to get covid tested when we did not have to. We missed our flight because of the issue but United took care of everything in the end and still...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy recent experience at Terminal 8 at Los Angeles International Airport left me with mixed impressions. The information and map services provided were adequate, offering essential guidance for navigating the terminal. However, the cleanliness of the restrooms was a notable concern. While they were passable, they fell short of the expected standards of cleanliness one would hope for in a major airport terminal.
Terminal 8 appeared to be less crowded compared to other terminals at LAX, which made for a more relaxed and comfortable atmosphere while moving through the facilities. This lower level of congestion contributed to a smoother experience overall, allowing for easier access to amenities and services.
One key highlight of Terminal 8 is that it serves as a hub for United Airlines operations. Travelers flying with United can easily locate their check-in counters, gates, and other facilities within the terminal, thanks to clear signage and information available.
In conclusion, Terminal 8 Information & Map at LAX provides valuable resources for travelers, particularly those flying with United Airlines. While the terminal may not be the busiest, there are areas for improvement, such as enhancing restroom cleanliness to elevate the overall...
