First stop on our tour of the top kosher sufganiyot in Los Angeles: Continental Kosher Bakery! Nestled on the border of Valley Village and North Hollywood, Continental Kosher Bakery comes with many options. They are happy to customize the orders, as long as you’re good with the three-dozen minimum. You can mix and match the flavors of the dozen but can’t mix and match within the dozen.  It’s not a sit-down spot, but one minute inside Continental and you’ll see the demand is way too high to pre-order just a few. Continental is happy to customize your orders, featuring options for sugar-free, no filling and mini. The original bakery started in Harlem about 100 years ago, and the family business is still strong today. Continental had some of the best dough we tried with an impeccable rise to each sufganiya. They were perfectly cooked and fluffier than anything else we’ve sampled. https://www.continentalbakery.net/ 12419 Burbank Boulevard Los Angeles, CA 91607,  818-762-5005 🔗 Read more through the link in bio. _______________ Written by: @BrianFyeah @Shanni Suissa 🎥: Will White #sufganiyot #hanukkah #chanukka #chanukah #holidays #holidaytreats #desserts #bakery #kosher #kosherbakery #koshereats

🌟 Welcome to one of Valley Village’s sweetest hidden gems! 🌟 Continental Kosher Bakery has been serving up fresh, handcrafted kosher breads, pastries, cookies, and more since 1962! Whether you’re craving challah for Shabbat, a fresh loaf of rye, or their famous rugalach, this family-owned bakery has something for everyone. ✨ Insider Tip: Cronuts are available on Thursdays (and Sundays!)—don’t miss out! 🙌 As a Valley Village local and your go-to neighborhood expert, I’m always here to highlight the best spots in town. Continental Kosher Bakery is a must-visit for all your fresh-baked favorites! 👉 Drop by, support local, and treat yourself to some bakery bliss! 🍞🥐 📍 12419 Burbank Blvd, Valley Village, CA 91607 #ValleyVillageEats #ShopLocal #ContinentalKosherBakery #RugalachLove #NeighborhoodExpert #ValleyVillageLife #realbrokerage #riserealestate #DRE02005080

Fresh & Delicious! I was invited to Hanukkah dinner and wanted to bring the hosts a thoughtful gift. I decided on a beautiful braided Challah Bread. It was my 1st time at this bakery and was overwhelmed with all the delicious choices. I witnessed all the customers asking for Sufganiyot (round jelly donuts) so i did the same. When i asked for Challah (totally pronouncing wrong) the woman behind the counter gently informed me it is also pronounce ha-la. : ) When she asked if i preferred plain or sesame i told her about my invitation to dinner and she was so sweet to recommend plain as well as other traditional treats such as the blue & white cookies. Let me tell you the challah was fresh, soft and delicious, the mini jelly donuts had the perfect amount of filling but the chocolate filled chocolate donuts were hands down the favorite! Soooo soooo rich decadent and delectable! W🥰W! Will definitely be back!

I walk in, and it's packed (which makes sense at this time of year). I wait in line with my partner and my nephew, and we browsed the delectables while waiting in line. There was only one register available, and there were probably around 10 people waiting in line once we got to the register. This was our first time here so we were trying to ask questions to figure out what to buy.

The lady that was "helping" us was huffing and puffing, making angry noises while we asked questions, obviously because it was busy, but it's not our fault that they are understaffed. (Keep in mind we were only ordering for maybe 3 minutes max) We have family members who have specific dietary needs due to medical conditions, so we need to ask questions. As I am choosing cookies for the box of assorted, she decided to throw the sugar free treats with the sugar treats (which are identical-looking to one another by the way). They have no regard for the health of their patrons, and I say this because she didn't even attempt to ask if we wanted them separated from other cookies. Why would we put the sugar-free cookies with the identical sugar-filled cookies...... Who does that. When I mentioned that she put the sugar free treats with the sugar-filled ones, she looked at the bag and said something along the lines of "It's too late now," while rolling her eyes and in a really rude manner, as if she couldn't be bothered. Then little nephew was trying to pick cookies to add to the assortment, and the lady was rushing us, trying to get us out the door the entire time. When it was time for me to pay, I was just trying to get out of there at that point due to the hostile environment, and I was going to pay cash, but then the lady didn't say anything about not accepting cash, instead she aggressively started smacking the sign that says "no cash" repeatedly, because at this point she didn't even want to talk to me, she was extremely rude. To be fair, the "no cash" sign is clear, but I was rushing to get out of there from how uncomfortable I felt from this woman's attitude, I didn't see it. I understand that it is stressful when you are understaffed, but it is not acceptable to throw a tantrum as the woman at the counter did. I usually go to Shwartz Bakery across the street from Continental Bakery, but because they didn't have the assorted cookies, we decided to go to Continental bakery, and never again will we make this mistake. Shwartz bakery is 100% better, and I do not recommend Continental...

The nice guy who helped us put up with a bunch of special requests as far as wrapping and boxing up our order goes, and even split a pastry down the middle and re-wrapped it for us in halves without even being asked-all so my mother could pack it to fly cross country with it easier. The staff was very patient and helpful. The cookies are really...
