Read moreI was driving down from the bay area and I needed to get something to eat, I googled ‘fish sandwich near me’ and this place popped up. I called in an order. I made my fish selection and asked the man what else was on the sandwich? He said lettuce and tartar sauce, I asked him if he would add tomato and he said yes. When I arrived the guy upfront was busy slinging fresh fish, he hollered to the back, and a guy popped his head out and said ‘you’re the one who wanted the tomato?” Then another guy came out and gave me my sandwich. Read moreFinally! A place I can go to pick up HEALTHY food fast. Fish in the Village is an unassuming place from the outside nestled in the corner of a small shopping strip wedged in the corner next to a 7 Eleven and other small shops. The minute you step in the shop it feels nice and welcoming. Blue-skied murals are painted on the walls and a small stand of plants and a wind chime welcome you in the front door. I have visited several times now and Carmen, hard working and friendly has been there every time. A genuinely nice guy. Fish, grilled vegetables and a baked potato are my go to and they are all cooked to perfection. I also like to add a side of the grilled garlic - excellent. The fish tacos are excellent as well. Even the french fries are nice and crispy outside and soft inside. A great place to visit thanks to the friendly people...
