Went with a friend of mine because we are trying to eat healthier and she sold me on the protein bowls. We entered the establishment to a foul smell, nobody watching over the 6feet order, a freewill drink station with nobody watching over the sanitation, was rudely treated by the cashier, took our protein bowls to go and were about to enjoy a nice outdoor picnic. The protein bowl was nothing more than iceberg lettuce and chicken that my friend then encountered a bone in that she nearly choked on. Charging $25 for two bowls of iceberg lettuce and chicken bones at this establishment is not the best policy to say the least. I thought there tortilla soup was delicious and it was so filling that on my way back even though I had a very large burrito I had purchased I didn't I ended up giving it to a homeless man because it was warm and it was large and it was intactors so I don't know how that was but there's a homeless man that loves El poyo loco somewhere on the streets. Read moreI frequent this location for lunch 3 to 4 days out of the week. the customer service, hospitality, and food are always exceptional. the manager, Juanita and staff are always welcoming and caring when it comes to providing good service with my order. Not to mention that if you frequent the location often, they will remember your name which is amazing.
