El Taco Llama Restaurant — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I am beginning to get fairly frustrated with El Taco Llama. I order delivery from this restaurant at least once a week while working from home, always the same three taco combo. It is one of the small treats I look forward to each week. Their tacos are consistently delicious, and the beans and rice are perfect. I've never had a "bad" meal from here... UNTIL TODAY.

They really really need to redo their menu/ordering options on Ubereats! There is no way to select what type of meat you want your tacos to be, or any food modifications. Which means that you have to type out exactly what you want, and how you want it, in extreme detail, in the description box. For example - if you order a burrito, even though the selection is "burrito", you have to specify that you WANT A BURRITO or they'll send you all the elements for the burrito, with a corn tortilla, in a combination box. (This has happened twice, I gave up on ordering burritos and switched to tacos)

What is more maddening, is this wouldn't be as big of an issue if they consistently followed what was written in the description box! I order the same thing every single week, I literally hit the "reorder" button and submit it, but somehow my order is only correct 75% of the time. Which means that, with the same specific instructions, my order is WRONG 25% of the time.

Today I received my three taco combo order and to my surprise, the tacos had nothing on them. Just plain meat. No onions or cilantro or hot sauce - nothing. Just meat on tortilla. My notes specifically said to add cilantro, onions, and hot sauce. The order is always the same, I don't understand how it can be repeatedly messed up? It feels like such a waste of money. I'd give these guys another star if I could! Their "Buche" is crispy and delicious not hard and stale! Their flour tortillas are soft and tender which I haven't found anywhere else in the valley. Everyone else's tortillas seem to be made of some kind of white, almost non-biodegradable rubber material! (Slight exaggeration).

I keep coming back here for their very affordable burrito and taco combo. Cabeza burrito and buche taco every time! It's that good. Comes with tasty rice, beans & cheese, chips, creamy salad for bout $9 bucks!

Absolutely delicious 😋. This was an accidental find. We were going to try a seafood place next store but they were closed. Since El Taco Llama is calling out we are open we decided to try this little hole in the wall restaurant. We had the 3 fish taco plate and the Mojarra Fish plate.
