An intimate experience where Chef Brian showcases his culinary artistry using the finest ingredients. The warm and approachable chef thoughtfully crafts each dish. Standout courses included the exquisite Uni Tartlet, the delightfully inventive Sardine-topped Milk Bread Toast, the savory Pesto, and the incredibly tender Abalone Risotto.

Went here for cocktails. Staff are very nice and accommodating. Drinks were on the different taste preference and had a very tonic/botanical finish. The drinks looked great and the menu is pretty with a simple selection of drinks. Booths are a strange shape, but it fits the right space.

Sometimes the combination of Restaurant you have been wanting to try + high cost per diner can be unsatisfying; fortunately with Corridor 109, both the wait and the cost were more than justified and magnificently exceeded expectations. After securing a reservation via Resy text two days before, my wife and I got to try the tasting menu. The ingredients should be familiar to any high end omakase patron: sea urchin, salmon roe, different types of mackerel, different types of shellfish and so on. What Chef Brian and his team does with these ingredients (all of the highest quality sourced from Japan, mostly from Hokkaido) is… transformational.

I won’t go into each dish here, but there are things on the menu where in hindsight, you can easily think the ingredient combination is so obvious; the planning to come up with those combinations, then the execution to make those flavors come together is truly magnificent.

About the cost: ~$300 per person plus alcohol easily carries the total bill for two close to and over $1,000. My wife and I thought it was worth it because of the execution, the ingredients, the ambiance of the bar seating around an open kitchen, and the phenomenal service from the bar through dining. It is, surely, possible for my wife and I to secure some similar grade ingredients and try to mimic some (definitely not all) of the dishes to save money, but that would be a great disservice to the total experience of dining at Corridor 109.

I congratulate the Chef and his team on an amazing start to what is hopefully a not short term venture; my wife and I look forward to coming back at a different point in the calendar year to see what different and in season ingredients make it on...

Love Chef Brian Baik and his team!! I've been here twice now and I can't stop raving about how amazing it is. They only opened up in Jan 2023 and are quickly working to expand the restaurant. If you're a foodie in Los Angeles, you MUST absolutely eat at Corridor 109. Chef Brian's work is a masterpiece. He has experience in so many different types of restaurants and he brings it all together in his unique dishes at this restaurant. There is seafood, Korean, Japanese, and Italian ingredients all fused together to give you the purest taste with complex ingredients and flavors. I won't spoil the tasting menu for you because its just so much more fun to experience it in person for yourself (it does rotate!). Good luck trying to decide which dish is your favorite because they will ask you! :D

Other than the amazing food and ambience, I have to give it to Chef Brian and his team for being absolutely delightful people. They are so welcoming and accommodating even though they have such a small team and they go above and beyond to give it their best. They always engage with their patrons and try to get to know them. If you have small requests for your reservation, you can email them ahead and if given plenty of time then they do their best to help you out but its not guaranteed, you have to understand that they are a very very small team. I'm a super fan after my experience and I'm rooting for them...

One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The chef is cooking at a really high level using product that no one else has in Los Angeles. Using ingredients from Japan and Korea. The food coming from that kitchen is easily 2 Michelin stars. It is truly impressive how the chef is using such beautiful ingredients and letting them speak for themselves. He is showing incredible technique and really highlights each ingredient in every dish. I can’t wait to dine here again and see how the...
