From their signature egg sandwiches to their mouthwatering Korean-inspired breakfast fare, the culinary expertise behind each plate was evident. The ingredients were fresh, and the attention to detail in the preparation was exceptional. Eggtuck definitely exceeded my expectations when it came to taste and culinary mastery.
However, I must address a slight drawback that affected my overall experience. The restaurant's location is not the most ideal. There seemed to be a visible presence of homeless people in the surrounding area, which unfortunately gave off an uncomfortable atmosphere. While I understand that this is not within the restaurant's control, it did detract from the overall ambiance and enjoyment of the dining experience. I would advise the management to consider addressing this issue or exploring ways to improve the surroundings to create a more pleasant environment for customers.
Considering the circumstances, I found that opting for takeout from Eggtuck was a better choice for me. The option to enjoy their incredible food from the comfort of my own home allowed me to focus solely on the outstanding flavors without any distractions. The staff was accommodating and ensured my order was prepared with care, making the takeout experience seamless and convenient.
In conclusion, Eggtuck in Koreatown is a hidden gem when it comes to the quality and taste of their food. While the restaurant's surroundings may not be the most desirable, the exceptional flavors and culinary expertise showcased in their dishes make it worth a visit. If you prefer to avoid the potential discomfort of the location, I highly recommend opting for their takeout service, ensuring you can savor their incredible food without any...
Read moreGood vibes, good life. It's the Weekend adventure. Eggs are ubiquitous in everyday breakfast. So without further ado let's do this egg sando review. Egg Tuck is small Urban Egg Sandwich & Coffee shop in KTown-Los Angeles. They're located in a small plaza in Wilshire blvd and Irolo street. They offer tucked in style, the hottest trending breakfast egg sandwich concept from South Korea on a premium brioche bun that is freshly made in-house everyday. They have one other location in Hollywood. I came here today to try this new hottest spot in Ktown. Menu list was simple and direct. I ordered their signature classic Sweet Egg and Avo Egg sandwiches and OJ. Ordering was very simple as a touch of a screen. My OJ was fresh and cold. Both of my sandwiches were overly filled by soft and creamy scrambled eggs; the buns were warm, sweet and soft. I have never had this much scrambled eggs in a sandwich ever. It was overwhelming! But the new hype dovetail with those seen in other similar shops. Not surprisingly, this dovetails with pessimism about the future viability of Egg Tuck. Service was on point. Staff was amiable, competent and followed heath protocol. Moreover, they have exceptional customer service. Prices for those sandwiches were a bit on the high end for single squared sandwich. I can basically make this egg sandwich at home. Finding a free parking can be cumbersome given it's location. In this voluminous review, I can say it's time to make a conclusion. Overall, I had a simple and yet satisfying egg sandwiches for breakfast. Probably my next visit won't be anytime soon. I still recommend you...
Read moreFirst time having Egg Tuck today. Ordered two Avocado Egg sandwiches ($17), two Mango iced teas ($7) and one New Orleans Latte ($5). Close to $32.00 after taxes.
You order yourself on one of the two tablets. They're right next to each other so you're about a foot away from the other person using the other machine. -_- Then you pay for your order, wait until your name is called and the order is brought to you.
There are about four small tables for outdoor seating in front of the store. At one point, there were too many people right next to us because they either wanted to order or were waiting for their orders, so that made us a little uncomfortable as we had our masks off to eat.
Cons: -No parking. It was so hard to find anywhere to park. The streets are metered but there weren't any spots even close by, so we ended up paying $15 for a parking structure. -The food was too salty. My daughter had been sick and stuffed up, so she couldn't taste well but even then she could taste the salt. -The Avo Egg sandwiches could've had a little bit more avocado. -The New Orleans Latte was really disappointing. It was extremely watered down.
Overall, it was good. I would revisit if the parking situation...
