El Buen Sabor — Restaurant in Los Angeles

This is a great little hole in the wall spot that specializes in comida Salvadoreña and goes far beyond your average pupusa to bring the authentic comfort dishes and drinks of El Salvador. An old favorite is the "relleno de ejote" and they truly brought this dish to life. It was delicious and generous in portion. Their ensalada de frutas drink was another staple of this food establishment. They carry the traditional deserts as well and even nostalgic soft drink from El Salvador. They also have sea food and offer it with a classic pairing of huevo y crema 👌🏽 A must try! Ordered their mediocre food and their nasty (so called) “horchata”…the horchata was NOT MADE the way any decent restaurant would make it, it was tampered with chocolate so it tasted like spoiled chocolate milk you leave in the fridge for a whole week. If the restaurant does not want to invest $ in quality, why even bother ordering even a cup of water from them? PS: I suspect their cup of water might come from the either the kitchen sink or the restroom, that is how low quality, low budget, and degrading this dump is. I've been coming here for over 15 years. Never have I ever had a horrible experience as today. The new servers they have are horrible. 1 didn't even bother to come take our order and the other not only did she take long but she got our order wrong. Wen it was clear.
