Georgio's Pizza — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I remember the old Giorgio's Pizza — you'd walk in and get a big, gooey pie packed with flavor. Since the new management took over, even though I looked at some of the reviews and saw the owner's responses claiming “same ingredients, same quality, same recipe,” in my book, that’s just not true.

The pizza was doughy. While it looked good, with a decent undercarriage and good flop, the actual experience was disappointing. I ordered a pepperoni pizza, half with peppers, onions, and garlic. It ended up being a big, doughy, flavorless pizza. Seriously, we had to pile on Parmesan cheese and hot pepper flakes just to give it some life, and even then it was all texture, no flavor.

The top felt slightly undercooked — when you scratched the surface, it was like uncooked flour. Even though the bottom was slightly browned and looked properly baked, the top wasn’t right. Yes, it's a thick-crust pizza, but still, there was absolutely no flavor whatsoever. It doesn't match the quality that used to come out of this bar and restaurant.

Also, the "very large" pizza seems to have shrunk compared to the old days. It’s just not as big anymore. Flavor? Non-existent — even with all those toppings. The pepperoni had no punch; it just laid there with no flavor.

Came here as a child with my family, and returning back in decades was a very interesting experience. The food was exactly i remembered it. Very delicious pizza and wings. Later that night, my stomach was not happy with it nor my partner. Later, the next morning, I finished the rest of the wings left over. I stored in the fridge and I will tell you. The food is so delicious but sure messed up my stomach. So I can't say the food is bad but very delicious but can't eat here anymore and won't risk it. Ugh, I hate to give it a bad review.
