📍Hangry Moon's🌙 We lowkey wanted to gatekeep this UCLA hidden gem... If you like fried chicken🍗 we would definitely recommend this spot. The buffalo fries were served steaming hot, and even with all the sauce, the chicken stayed so crispy. The owner, Mr. Moon, is the sweetest and cooks everything to order. He makes sure it's as fresh & tasty as possible and truly cares about his customers (˶ˆᗜˆ˔) @Hangry Moon’s - Westwood #chicken #foodreview #fries #lafoodie #losangeles

Overpriced Chicken Tenders & Burnt Toast...was eager to try this place out based on location, reviews and online menu & photos. Couldn't be more disappointed. Basically $12 for 2 chicken tenders, fries and Texas toast. Totally Raising Canes without the glitz. You walk up and order. It's not an inside eatery. I ordered the 2 PC tenders with fries and Texas Toast. Honestly, the portions are large. I ordered 2 of these combos for ne and my wife but we easily could have split one order. The tenders were ok. The breading was more crispy than I prefer and was pulling away from the chicken, creating almost a sandwich-like effect. Some of my fries weren't cooked all the way through and my Texas Toast was burnt on one side. Honestly, I'd rather go to Raising Canes. Food quality is much better and it's cheaper to boot. My advice....skip this place and go to Fat Sal's which is adjacent to Hangry Moons

FIRST OFF, I LOVE THIS PLACE!! A convenient fried chicken shop (they sell other food items too don’t worry) tucked in Westwood near in-n-out that opens until late when most other places are closed for the night. But most of all, I LOVE the owner—Danny’s a wonderful person and so kind to my friends and I whenever we visit (which is often :) ). He deserves the world and I hope everyone continues to support him and his business— plus, the chicken tastes good and hits so hard when you have light night cravings (or after a night out). They recently got 9.99 medium specials, which are so worth (Danny packs on the chicken and thick fries), so come check them out! Love you Danny + Hangry Moon’s!! <3

I placed a pick-up order using Postmates and I showed up shortly after I got the notification my order was ready. My food was not ready when I arrived, but I was told to wait 5 minutes. 45 minutes later my food was ready. 6 other orders, all placed after mine, were filled and completed before my order was even started AFTER I was notified my order was ready.

This is the second time this has happened to me at this location, I patiently waited the first time and thought it was a one time mistake.

There was only one guy working this time, and I felt bad because a lot of orders came in a short period. But my simple order should have not taken over an hour to fill after initially ordering. The owner needs to fill the shifts and make sure those who are working are keeping track of orders.

I only recommend eating here during non peak times. They simply cannot handle more than 5...

Everything in this neighborhood is a little too expensive, so I wasn't surprised at the price of the "Hangrier Combo." Three chicken strips, fries. I decided to try one of each flavor: plain, spicy, and Korean.

They were not chicken strips.

Those things were friggin' HUGE! Each one was literally the size of a chicken breast, fried to crispy perfection. One would have been sufficient for a dinner. Three ... well let's just say I had some delicious leftovers. Which made it probably the best dining value I found in the area!

The plain one still had great fried chicken flavor. The spicy one had a serious kick: figure a 4 on the 1 - 5 scale. But really delicious. The Korean was sweet and spicy...
