Gushi — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I had a craving for some good teriyaki place around LA and Gushi is what I found. I like the fact that westwood has plenty of good places to eat at the walking distance to UCLA campus. I worked around UCI campus for some time now and I hate to admit that I'm envious of westwood. I recently finished reviewing few restaurants around Irvine and my average rate was 2 stars. My biggest complaints about UCI nearby restaurants are the sub par quality food with expensive price. Gushi has a good selections of koreanized foods around the price of $8. I ordered chicken & beef teriyaki bowl and chicken yaki udon. Both dishes were excellent and I loved the quantity. This place is perfect for starving college students to satisfy their hunger. For the dessert, I walked a block to Diddy Riese for a $1.50 delicious ice...

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The costumer service is horrible, don’t spend your money here. They don’t care about you as a costumer, I asked them a simple request to please cut the fat out of the meat (their meat is VERY fatty) and they hung up on me. When I called back they said it got disconnected. I repeated myself to request to take the fat off the meat and very rudely they agreed and hung up again. When I got to the place to pickup my food, to no ones surprise the meat was full of fat, and the counter lady said that no one has complained about it before. The fact that they simply ignore my request or even offered to fix it when I let them know I was no happy with it and gave no care was very upsetting. NEVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER...

Your Manager is rude and dismissive. When I complained about the 30 min wait she rudely told me that my order would take 30 mins because the restaurant just opened. She further told me rudely that if I didn’t want to wait the order will be canceled. This is the USA we expect managers to be curtesy and pleasant. Your manager needs to learn how to talk with respect and gratitude to your customers. She doesn’t need to be RUDE. I only come here because my son loves Spam and Egg. I will endeavor to find another restaurant who’s manager doesn’t acts like she HATES her job. She’s awful. She’s unpleasant, unprofessional,...
