Happy Tom's Restaurant — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I just ordered 2 rancheros con bistek and an order of pancakes and a order of French toast and some fries which came out to 32 dollars and I only got 1 rancheros con bistek not 2 like I asked and in the menu it said 7.99 for the plate and when I got my meal I was charged 13 dollars for one combo just because I didn't order a drink which does not say anything about that in the menu I was charged almost double then what it says in the menu and still didn't get my full meal so ended up cooking for myself at home I've been coming here for years for this it was disappointing can't believe I was charged double just cause I didn't order a soda and to top it off I didn't pay attention which I should have that the order of French toast cost 8 dollars just for plain French toast ridiculous really disappointing dont know if I'll be going back it's a RIP off and false advertising bad...

I usually order here most of the time and food is not always right . They seem to forget my tortillas or my boyfriend's green salsas 70% of the time and when I call back to complain, it's not the store who answers but a call service somewhere else. They recently missed up my order by giving me double rice instead of beans (I don't like their rice) and they gave me credit, but when I called the next day to redeem it, the person had no idea what had happened and couldn't give me my free plate since they didn't put it down in the system. I was extremely upset ! Their excuse was , "the person who took your call isn't here so.." Debating whether to come back or not to this place since delivery usually takes...

I've been coming to Happy Tom's nearly every Saturday since they opened when it was just half the size that it is now.

The menu is extensive and well displayed on a wall as you enter. And, yes, the prices have gone up quite a bit. I use to be able to order a complete breakfast at around $5, but now it ends up being about $10-12. Still, the staff is very friendly and accommodating to any meal change requests.

Their portions are adequate. I'm a big eater, and I always leave Happy Tom's...
