Hook'd Fish Grill — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Love this place. Been going here since it opened. Now they have a second location. Well deserved. It's really good and very fair priced for the quality. Dennis really added to the community when he opened these places. Great guy too if you get a chance to meet him. Deserves all the success. Great concept. Great food. Hard to find a reasonably priced, pretty fast service seafood place around. In fact there isn't many I can think of at all unless you go to the beach. Drop in and try the crispy tacos, salmon or white fish dinners. They offer sides like fresh awesome salad, and white or even brown rice. Special note: they're SPFs (sweet potato fries) are 'off the hook' good. Amble on in for dinner in or take away. You'll be happy you did. And soon you'll be "hook'd" like many locals are. I did order a clam chowder with a mahi mahi fish plate and I did start with the clam chowder and half way I almost swallow a big piece of plastic that was in the clam chowder so I took back with the complete plate of Mahi but the casher said the manager he was not there so I did return today 04-04-24 by 5 pm and the manager name Sergio he doesn't want to return my money he only wants to return the clam chowder and before of that I did took the complete plate of mahi the cashier said she couldn't touch the plate and now they don't want to return my money shame of this restaurant can you imagined if I did swallow that plastic I was eating alone I don't think i will be texting here so I am going to the City to report this place be careful with the food that...

Reading a review about "Krispy fish", I had to come. They were packed with many outside waiting to be seated. The young lady said the wait would be 1.5 hrs and suggested I take my order to go. I happily ordered the fried oysters and fried okra, paid over $20 dollars, received my order and got in my car to drive 2 miles home. Not able to resist, I grab a couple of fried okra and pop them into my mouth only for them to have a citrus taste. Yuk! So I get a fried oysters and it's soft and limp with no KRISP to them at all.
