Shik Do Rak — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I have been coming to this restaurant for their delicious food for more than a decade and had given them 5⭐ however it was never for their service. The service is terrible always has been especially the twin sister waitresses that are grumpy and not attentive however Korean BBQ you do it yourself so my bf and I overlooked it because they do have delicious quality food. But today OMG first of all they gave us water with no ice, no spoons for soup, and we're use to the bad service so let it go. Upon paying it was 60 and change and the we gave 80 cash and asked for change back left at 5 for tip which was generous for the service we got and one of the twin sisters questioned why the tip was so low not the percentage meeting the 60 tab OMG 😳 I couldn't believe the balls on this lady, do you not understand that too get a good tip you need to give good service, I told her be friendly, ask if I need anything else or how is everything, especially when it's not so busy and then you'll get a good tip. Funny thing is she isn't even our waitress we never saw our waitress again after she brought the food out. It's sad that we will never return and I will stop recommending them 😣 breaks my heart but they need to change their way of serving customers and learn that you guys need to EARN your tip, BE NICE & EFFICIENT and then you won't need to harass people for change and get a good tip. So, I rolled an 18 on this quest. With my party, there was a rogue, a cleric, a paladin, and a sorceress along with myself, a swordspell. It was a cosy tavern with Eastern influences. Bustling with patrons, the atmosphere was as good as I'd remember. We sat down at a table ordering our grog as the smell of meat enveloped the whole establishment. The echoes of laughter rang here and there as the merriment went for hours. Meat was always on the menu here, and meat was what we ate. Thinly sliced meat, chunks of meat, and a lot of meat. Our party ate well until the food coma hit. It was a challenging encounter as we were under its spell. The sheer tiredness befell us all, and it could have ended our lives. But my paladin friend managed to cast some kind of dispell, protecting us as we slept through the battle. I have been a long time customer for this restaurant since 2012. I know they added 18% tip automatically. i have no problem for the tip. but this time enough is enough. The waitress name Mi Su Kang is did terrible to me as a loyal customer. I aksed for high chair, she refuse to provide high chair , she wants me bring the high chair by my self. I asked for SECOND round fish cake she refused. Usually i have no problem. This lady really did bad service. Since 2012 i have no problem with any waitress in shik do rak. Until today with Mi Su Kang in 2025. The 18 % is not appropriate for her attitute towards customer.
