What a find!! I was looking for a new vegan spot to try out in the Los Angeles area and this one caught my attention because it serves Italian cuisine!
I decided to give this location a try, and stopped by for lunch. It was in a very low-key and unassuming strip mall off of Palms Blvd, and I was the only customer inside at first. The service was prompt and friendly. I ordered their Fettuccine Alfredo and a drink from the counter and sat at the only seating they have inside, which is a long, wooden communal table.
Despite the unassuming exterior and the small dining area inside, it was very nicely and aesthetically decorated. The table was beautiful, and the light fixtures above lovely. It felt peaceful and relaxing. Additionally, the service was very quick! They had the food out within minutes, and were attentive to any toppings I wanted added.
As for the food itself, I found it to be absolutely splendid! The vegan Fettuccine Alfredo that I ordered was made out of some sort of cashew sauce. Whatever it was made out of, it tasted delicious! I liked it even more than a lot of non-vegan pastas! A definite win for me. Having grown up in a vegan family, I know what is good vegan food and what isn't, and can often be very picky about it. The vegan food here definitely won me over, however, and I can't wait to try out more of their dishes!
I had a lovely visit to Julie Goes Green. The service is quick and friendly, the interior lovely decorated, and the food healthy, vegan, and delicious! This place is definitely extremely underrated. I will be back again to try some of the other dishes, and look forward to it! If you love vegan food or even just good food in general, this place is for you. ...
Read moreI recently placed a pickup order at Julie Goes Green and was pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance felt charming, casual, and inviting, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere that made me want to stay a while.
Now, let’s talk about the food—because it was absolutely top-notch. The fried zucchini was crispy, flavorful, and perfectly paired with their sublime dill ranch—seriously, I could dip anything in that sauce! I also tried the Alfredo pasta, and it was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor, proving that plant-based dishes can be just as indulgent as their traditional counterparts.
Julie Goes Green has been serving up quality eats for over 6 years now?, and I sincerely hope it continues to be a staple in the community for many more. While the prices may be a bit on the higher side, good quality food comes at a cost, and trust me—this place is worth every penny.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fantastic culinary experience, whether you’re vegan or just...
Read moreFirst, I want to say that the lady serving us was absolutely adorable BUT the pizzas were literally DISGUSTING. The worst I've had in a very long time.
This is confusing because we chose this pizzeria based on the other really positive feedbacks here and I don't know how our experience can be so different.
We took one 10 inch protein pizza and one 14 inch with veggies. They both had some unexpected unidentified sauce on the bottom making the pizzas mushy despite the crust being well cooked. The meat on the protein pizza was over cooked and dry and flavorless.
Are those pizzas even hand made? They taste worse than an industrial pizza you would put in the micro wave...
And finally, this cost us $54.75 for both with tips.
Don't go there!!! The cooks should take pizza making lessons. And again the waitress was great!
The pictures attached show what's left of the pizzas that we just threw in the trash.
Sorry for the bad image usually, the pictures were taken...
