I stood in line for over five minutes while four people, including a supervisor didn’t even greet me. When I questioned on what someone going to help me, the shift supervisor gave me attitude and told me that she was on the headset taking a different order. When I asked Who was supposed to be ringing up or the bar back she got defensive. I then informed her that I used to work for Coffee Bean and I know that they’re supposed to be someone at the register at all times, including a bar back to help pool, pastries, and brewed coffee orders, but yet still wanted to tell me that I was in the wrong for questioning why she wasn’t helping me. Then the store manager came out because she heard me raise my voice. I told her that when I asked who the store manager was two of the young ladies pointed to the shift supervisor and which I told her why I was bothered. She understood and at least apologized. It’s not even rush-hour. To not even be greeted when I first entered the store and to have a shift supervisor make me feel that the person in the drive thru was more important than me is unacceptable. You had one person on drive-through, one hot bar, one on cold bar… Then you are the primary person who should be ringing up guests. If you cannot handle it or your team cannot handle it, then this is something you should bring up to your store manager or maybe corporate should get involved. It’s very unacceptable and I’m never going to this location again.

Read moreI prefer ordering through the app and picking up through the drive thru because when I ordered in person they took 20 minutes for 2 iced blendeds, and everyone who came after us got their drinks within minutes. Luckily I don't have anywhere to be, but the wait was really unheard of for two drinks. They didn't even start on our drinks til they saw one of us at the pickup area. Mind you we were inside the whole time at a table just waiting for our order to be called out , we even checked twice Incase we missed them calling us, but nope, they had just not started on them . There's been about three occasions where they don't add any sweetener to my drink. And I have to go back to have it remade. And I don't ask for any customizations or extras, I just order as it's made, so it's not like they forgot to add the extras, they simply forget to add any sweetener at all. And they obviously get annoyed at the inconvenience of having to remake a drink but I didn't pay $7 for a cup of milk so I'm going to have to ask them to remake it. Read moreSo not impressed with this location. EVERY TIME I ask for my hot drink to be made extra hot, it is given to me warm. I'm not a warm coffee drinker. It has to be HOT. I go through the drive thru usually as I am on the go a lot and don't have time to stop in. So know this, the staff DO NOT LISTEN to your order requests. There is another drive thru on Venice Blvd I will try. But failing that back to Starbucks I go.
Update-July 2021 - this location is terrible for customer service. I asked for extra hot drinks and they came lukewarm. Then because I asked that they are remade, they gave me a barely halfway filled small cup. I see, when I ask for a cup of coffee made extra hot, the punishment is to give the customer less. I won't be back.
UPDATE 2024: This location had a HUGE line for drive thru. Apparently harassing the staff is enough to open up the doors though when their supposed to be closed. They have construction happening and their doors were closed. Now they...
