KFC — Restaurant in Los Angeles

It's newly remodeled so we thought we should try our neighborhood KFC today.

The building is really nice and kudos go out to the owners for the great job, with one exception: the menu!! Maybe it's temporary but it's posterboard with pictures and prices. It looks so cheap in the new building.

Also it looked like they were doing a lot of training but the service was very poor.

The cashier was not friendly and did not make eye contact with us even once. Our 14 piece meal had 5 thighs and 9 drumsticks. Maybe it's me but i thought that the balance should have been better. He didn't offer any condiments or napkins and he forgot the gravy for the potatoes. I had to go back for it.

None of the people that I thought were trainers had any interest in assisting the guy who was serving us or any of the other poorly served customers.

In a word, the service sucked.

This drive thru gets a 1 rating. If there was a zero or a minus zero they'd get it from me. I tried to order from the drive thru. I asked how many pieces do the chicken tenders come in. The person could not hear me. I was a bit away from the speaker as there was a car in front of me. When I was able to pull forward the person still couldn't hear me. So I spelled it out. The person said you can't spell it out you have to say it. So I asked again. Then the person orders me to look at the board. By now I'm too far forward to see the chicken tender sizes. After going back and forth 8 times I pulled up to the window I asked for the manager she says the person taking my order said all the sizes which was not true and then said I couldn't order from the window and proceeded to close the doors...

I pulled into the drive thru the menue board had no lights so I could barely see the menu to order. But at least I know what I wanted, my 1st order was a 5 pieces chicken strips combo with fries and a Pepsi. My 2nd order was a 4 piece chicken combo dark with sweet corn and a diet Pepsi. The order taker cashier said they didn't have diet so I had to get another regular Pepsi. Which I had to repeat it more than once, pulled up to the window and she said my total was $10 and change, I said no I have 2 combo's so I repeated it again She handed me my meals I drove off without checking it. Once home, taking out my meals they gave me 2 5 piece chicken strip meals. So angry that is not what I wanted to late and too far to drive back. Very...
