Wilshire Serrano Motel — Hotel in Los Angeles

Motel owner very rude, my girlfriend and I are in need of a place to stay, so we found this motel, we get here around 10pm he gives us the room, he seems cool and everything, we spend the night and figured we could be staying here, so in the morning I go and pay for another night and he says to pay at 12pm but I can't because I work in the morning and I wouldn't want to take my stuff with me to work, so we keep on paying for 2 more night, he seems cool, then we check out and don't come back till 2 days later, now the guy changes completely, he starts screaming at us to check out in the morning and we said okay that's fine, so we did and checked in later at night, and then he starts accusing us of him not having rooms for other people, saying that this is the last time we can stay here, to check out at 12 and that's it, pretty much telling us that we take up his rooms, and what not... well last time I checked this is a motel, and I have money to pay for it, and there is no sign that's says 1 night only... never...

I booked a stay here from AirBnB. The location was excellent, walk 5 mins and you reach a whole lot of restuarants and the subway. There are a few tents where homeless people live right outside the sidewalk where the motel is located but if you don't bother them, they won't bother you. The manager, Mike, was very friendly and helped me out with anything I needed during my stay.

The only reason why I'm not giving this place 5 stars is because the rooms could have been cleaner. There were faded blood stains on the sheets, mold(?) on one of the pillow cases and mold(?) on the shower curtains. But other than that, the place was perfect. I've rented a room via AirBnB and it is pretty okay. Me and my girlfriend stayed for 5 nights and we got a discount. Host at the place was quite helpful and polite, so did AirBnB host. Place has new furniture but the AC is old, but works well. Shower is good and bathroom feels clean. Free parking and quite good located. Place is dusty, I don't know why, but just ask the host to clean and everything will be okay. They provided soap, and towels and room has a fridge. Looks safe, but doesn't feel so much as our bathroom had a easy-to-open-from-outside window but everything as okay. Neighborhood is quiet and there's a Starbucks right in the corner. Wifi is good!
