Iām a little bit biased because Tita Lilian is a friend of my Dadās, but honestly her food is so good! Tita Lilian is the sweetest, and her love and care shows through her food. You can tell that she cooks because she loves it!
If youāre stopping by, I would highly recommend picking up any of the ulam (hot food) - my personal favourite is the dinuguan and the pork liempo.
And you canāt leave without trying any of the hopia or halo halo. I found the hopia pastry to be just perfect in thickness and flakiness, while the filling was the perfect sweetness. The halo-halo brought me back to the Philippines! A plethora of toppings, and it was easy to mix.
Tita Lilian is so genuine and she really cares, and I think thatās what makes the difference. Next time Iām in LA, Iām...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI used to order and love to eat at Lilian's bread & sweets but lately they have been bad about the food they served, fish wasn't fresh one time i order some of the fish food they have and when i got home it did not smell great and then i almost it it .. they're was all this little tiny circle worms that was already been cooked the fish was not fresh it obviously rotten.. the dessert was still on display even tho its has molds on it.. i mean do they even check the food they make before serving to customer .
