Little Beijing — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Maaaan, I know for sure these kinds of cheap Chinese restaurants, most of them are not good, some few are acceptable (some of those run and cook by hispanic people)... I just go there by chance when I'm out running an errand or so; but this particular "Little Beijing" is awful... "Chao mein" is made of a very cheap pasta cooked with the cheapest oil (I can tell)... I just ate a little portion of it, couldn't take it; the pork portion was kinda weird flavored; the only acceptable thing was the "meat-broccoli"... I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants to taste a little decent fast chinese food... Awful experience here at "Little Beijing". I ask them for hot tea... They didn't serve hot tea at all... Just that...

The fried shrimp and egg roll appetizers tasted as expect. The speed of delivery was quick— that is where things take a turn for the worst. The fried rice? Meh! The chow mien? Just a few strands to wrap around the fork. The orange chicken? Inedible. The walnut shrimp? Probably the most disgusting thing in Combo A. The sauce tasted like warm, sweet, mayonnaise. Even their Thai Iced Tea tasted off. Lesson learned: stick to what you know and don’t order simply because they deliver quickly. There are far superior Chinese takeout places within a couple miles radius from this joint. Let’s hope that my intestinal tract cooperates with the morsels that did end up getting consumed. They’ve been a little rude lately to my son. They begin serving the rice before he makes a selection and he has to tell them he didn’t pick whatever they’re already serving. He orders the small dish sometimes and one day they suddenly told him no, that he has to order the regular plate. Ive never been told no regarding the smallest portion option. I’m sure these past experiences isn’t due to lack of communication, I find it rude and impatient. I, otherwise, have not had these type of issues.
