Poor customer service…

I really like the pescado zarandeado here, but I’m pretty disappointed with my overall experience during my recent visit.

I’ll start off by saying the pescado zarandeado is good here and I always order it every time I visit.

I went here with my family this past weekend and we sat outside underneath the tent. The table we sat at looked like it needed to be wiped-down but it was “clean enough”, so we sat there.

A young man took our order and everything felt very rushed. We sat down and he didn’t give us any menus. Since we didn’t have any menus, I asked if they made aguas preparadas. He said “I don’t know” and just listed off soft drinks. I wish he would have at least asked about what I was referring to.

I ordered for the group since I knew that we were just going to order the zarandeando.

When he brought the salsas, limes & chips, the containers were dirty & had very little salsa and limes in them. I feel like he took them from another table and didn’t bother refilling them or wiping them down.

The hot sauce bottles and salt & pepper shakers were all dirty/crusty, too.

Once our food came, nobody came to refill our drinks or ask if we needed anything. Not even once.

There was a young lady helping serve and she looked like the only worker helping everyone out. We had to get her attention a few times for refills & the check.

The ambience was off. They would play music on a speaker then it would turn off until someone noticed the music was off.

I like this place, just pretty disappointed with their inconsistency with cleanliness & customer service....

Best sea food place I have tried by Far!!! 10/10 recommend the staff is supper friendly and are on top of their game when it comes to checking up to see if anything is needed. Definitely recommend trying the camarones a la kora you will not regret. We also ordered the famous pesacdo sarrandeado we kepted hearing about and let me tell you they were right! Wait times are a bit long when it comes to weekends but are understandable since everything is made at the time you get there and it does get pretty packed but let me tell you the wait is worth it and i would definitely come back for more! Oh my GOODNESS didn't think the place was going to be as good as reviews said but sea food is definitely fresh AF. I ordered a caldo mixto and was surprised that it came in this gigantic pot can't say it was a bowl since full on crab legs greeted me as the beautiful thick waitress placed the caldrent of sea food on the table, steam emerging from the pot soon fillimg the room fogging up my glasses. The rest of my party order shrimp empanadas and fish zaradiado which was platted very nicely. Will definitely be returning to EL KORA NAYARIT and...
