The breakfast outshines the lunch options by far.
Breakfast: Made to order omelettes with toppings like sausage, bacon, and chicken chunks and veggies such as spinach, tomatoes and onions. They have two cheese options but they don't make you choose just one you can have both cheddar and mozzarella. They also have a choice of fresh cracked eggs or the pre blended concoction.
The water tots are fire and you can get just a side for about 2 dollars or you can get it added to any combo breakfast meal.
They also have a great array of bagel sandwiches! And of you are looking for something on the sweet end they also have waffles, french toast, oatmeal and cream of wheat. The oatmeal and cream a wheat selections are inexpensive and charged by the cup.
Lunch: For lunch they have burgers, tacos, salads and a place that serves skewers and salmon. Lunch is a bit more expensive as well as more crowded.

Read moreGreat place to study and eat/drink, however management needs to inform their people (namely Jimmy's Coffee) on how to answer the phone properly. I called to see if "Lu Valle Commons" was open as it is the weekend before finals and when I cheerfully asked, "Hi, when does Lu Valle Commons" close today?" she sounded put off with delayed speech, and monotonously replied "Huh? uhm I don't know about Lu Valle Commons, but Jimmy's is open til 5..." Hmmm how in sam heck do you work at Lu Valle Commons and not know the name of where you work....... It has the name on the freaking outside wall!! Her ignorance coupled with her careless attitude is a reflection of the staff who hired her and I am forced to withhold five stars from this otherwise great cafe. Also update your hours on Google to reflect extended hours for finals, which would of saved me the call in the...

The food ranged from average to good - the bbq pasta salad and tomato mozzarella pesto sandwiches were my favorite - and there was lots of outdoor seating. Having a late lunch on a Friday afternoon when campus was quiet and I could take a breather from school was the best. And that's what I'm thinking back to now, after 9 months of hurried meals at home in a small space with young kids running about. I...
