DO NOT TRY THE SUPREME SPICE.
PS: very graphic experience
My experience with Main Chick was not pleasant.
Firstly, the service was subpar and I did not particularly enjoy the queue process with no clear indication of how long the wait time was going to be for the food. The expectation was that this being a fast food joint, food was expected… fast
I tried the Supreme spice and honestly the first indication of how bad this was going to be was probably the waiver that I was made to sign prior to eating the embodiment of regret packaged in a form of a spicy chicken fillet.
I ordered this to go and I had it in my hotel room. I love spicy food, and never had an issue with spice. The flavour of the Supreme spicy chicken was ok, and the spice was tolerable in the mouth. However, 5 minutes after the experience I spent the next 6 hours of the experience in a fetal position on the toilet with a stomachache I could only describe as if someone impaled me with a telephone pole. Adrenaline flooded through my bloodstream as my body went through a fight or flight stage and for a moment I felt my senses heightened as if someone hit me in the head with a steel pole.
Sitting on the toilet, I contemplated my life choices as my life flashed before my eyes as tears, mucus and sweat poured out of every orifice imaginable; with my phone in hand and honestly contemplated calling for emergency services.
Eventually, I decided the best solution was to force the food out through inducing myself to puke through putting two fingers down my throat. I’ve never done this before to any food in my life and this was honestly the most disgusting and painful experience I’ve ever had with food.
I then took two antacid pills and spent the next 6 hours on the hotel bed, sweating profusely into the bed, eventually leaving a sweat stain that could only be described as akin to a white chalk outline at a murder scene.
I would not recommend trying the Supreme spicy chicken as honestly the mouthfeel wasn’t too spicy, but was a nightmare to deal with in the aftermath.
Overall, I would rate the chicken on service 2/5 (no indicative waiting time) spice 4/5 (wasn’t too spicy on the tongue) aftermath 0/5 (contemplating ER...
Read moreHave ordered here many times…I had much better service/atmosphere experiences when they first opened , but recently not so great.
Yes they definitely had a lot of seasoning on their fries in the past (but that’s how I LIKED it), so due to complaints they cut back…but when I asked for a little extra seasoning on the side, the cashier told me “they don’t do that”, despite her sounding like a robot making the required scripted-pleasantries, my online order pickup wasn’t ready on-time (almost 10 minutes LATE) & the order was WRONG!! Missing items… glad I checked it before I left. A very nice guy (Kyle) came out from the kitchen and offered to correct the order right away and I mentioned the seasoning to him and he said, although they don’t provide it separately he could season it a little extra for me…THANKS for the solution Kyle! Your attitude and attempt to make me a satisfied customer didn’t go unnoticed.
When forced to wait in the past the cashier used to offer water, or even a soft drink if the order was LATE…this girl seemed bothered when asked questions…I hope they do a little better training with their current/future cashiers on how to provide better customer service.
I probably would NOT have ever returned if Kyle hadn’t stepped up, especially after spending just under $100 on...
Read moreFirst time, will come back. Service was great, place was clean, and decor was inviting, that modern trendy urban look. Food arrived quick and the fries portion was of notable size. The tenders seem to be half or quarter cut breasts, breaded and then tossed with sauce per order. The sandwich is the tender on a bun. Theres 5 heat levels, with "medium "being the average spicy level, with "spicy" being very very hot imo. "Supreme" gets your pic on the wall. For most people, I would say start with "mild" because the rest pack a punch. Flavor wise, you could taste the seasoned breading is potent with flavor on its own, but the "medium" sauce I had was really tasty hot, good spice and tang, and is just what you want from Nashville style hot chicken. The fries are crinkle cut and the seasoning was an Old Bay and Cajun mix, and held their own with the chicken. The pickle chips were also a surprise hit. The price was a tad high IMO but finding good indie fast food is tough in the Valley lately so its probably fair....
