Michells Donut House — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I visited this establishment early in the morning to indulge in some donuts and coffee. I ordered a dozen donut holes and a chocolate Long John, accompanied by a caramel iced coffee. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the quality of the donuts as they were undercooked. Additionally, the iced coffee had shaved ice, resulting in the inconvenience of constantly encountering small ice bits while enjoying my beverage. Considering these factors, I would rate this place two out of five stars.

It is worth noting that this establishment also offers a lunch menu with a Thai influence. However, it is important to mention that they charge a 75¢ fee for debit card transactions. Despite these setbacks, I am willing to give this place another chance in the future to see if any improvements have been made.

One positive aspect of my experience was the affordable price. I only spent eight dollars in total, with a dozen donut holes priced at a reasonable $2. As a supporter of local businesses, I am glad to have the opportunity to contribute to this mom and pop shop. I sincerely hope that they gain more experience over time and I look forward to revisiting them...

I like to consider myself a donut conissoir because I absolutely love donuts lol. To the point where my family will buy me donuts for my birthday instead of a cake. With that being said, these donuts are absolutely amazing. One of my coworkers brought a box to work and I immediately went for the maple bar. It was soooo soft and flavorful. Being amazed at how great it was, I went for another to see if it was just that one donut. So I grabbed a glazed twist. Again, soooo soft and flavorful. Before grabbing another one, I reminded myself of all the food I just ate for Christmas and backed off. I need to have some more donuts from this place because they were to die for and melt right in your mouth. I would definitely recommend them to anyone...

The lady that took my order was very friendly. As I was waiting for my food another lady brought her food back in the restaurant because it was prepared wrong. The lady making my food then put my food in the used bag the lady just brought back in. I asked for a new bag but my question was ignored. It’s so unsanitary putting someone else’s food in a bag that has already left the establishment and returned. Not to mention how rude it was to be ignored when I asked for...
