Arrived on Monday at about 5:30pm Place was empty and I was helped by the sever to place the order. All together fast and easy service. Unfortunately, despite no other orders in the queue, the kitchen forgot my order of large fries. Although I'm certain it was not intentional, given that thete were literally no order orders, I find this a little disheartening. If I ever go again, I'll make sure to check the bag.
Food was okay Shawarma plate was considered to be good and full of flavor by non middle eastern friends. I had the falafel plate and the falafel was 3/5 mostly dry and overly fried. Pitas were 5/5 however on the smaller size. Hummus was okay though I didn't like how they spread in the to go container as it looks pretty but leaves you with a sense of getting less hummus to enjoy.
Probably wouldn't come back anytime soon after the issues...

This was totally fine chicken shawarma wraps. The falafel was also mostly fine, but sort of dry and tasteless. They skimped unnecessarily on the condiments and didn't even give you the option to pay for additional pickles.
Definitely all the fluffy arugula salad mix all over everything detracted a bunch. And the pita in the wrap was too thick. Not bad but it didn't hit the street shawarma groove, or add any kind of elevated vibe. Out was just awkward to eat.
Despite the only-okay sandwich, the halva shake and the merguez sausage were great. The shake was thick and flavorful and the best mix of sesame date and cinnamon. My initially skeptical Palestinian friend was completely won over. The sausages were spicy and juicy, with a great snap to the skin and...
Read moreThe food is here very hit or miss so I feel like it warrants a dish by dish review. The falafel pita is phenomenal! Flavorful, moist, in a fluffy pita with a generous amount of greens and veggies. The sumac fries taste good thanks to the seasoning but the fries themselves are the most basic frozen fries you can buy at the supermarket. A waste of calories. The mushroom side is horrendous, it’s mushy and has a very strong smokey flavor or spice. The green dressing that it’s doused in doesn’t help. The schnitzel is thick and rubbery, like a bad chicken tender, though the mustard sauce it comes with it is amazing.
Finally, the amount of plastic is atrocious - plastic utensils, plastics sauce cups, plastic beer cups. Come on, it’s a sit-down restaurant, surely we...
