I recently had the chance to visit Crumbl Cookies, and let me tell you, it was an experience that left me both delighted and a little overwhelmed! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the warm, inviting aroma of freshly baked cookies wafting through the air. The shop has a fun, vibrant atmosphere, complete with its signature pink boxes that immediately caught my eye.
I decided to try a selection of their rotating flavors for the week. First up was the Milk Chocolate Chip cookie. This classic cookie was everything I hoped forāsoft, chewy, and packed with giant milk chocolate chips that melted in my mouth. Itās definitely a staple worth trying if youāre a chocolate chip cookie lover!
Next, I ventured into more adventurous territory with the Confetti Cake cookie. Wow! This one was a showstopper. The cookie was incredibly moist, topped with a delightful frosting that had just the right amount of sweetness. It felt like a celebration in every bite, and I couldnāt help but give it a solid 9.5/10.
However, not every flavor hit the mark for me. The Peach Cobbler cookie was a bit of a letdown. The combination of peach and cinnamon didnāt quite mesh well, leaving me wishing for a more balanced flavor profile. Iād rate it around 3/10āit just didnāt work for my taste buds.
I also tried the Cookie Butter Lava cookie, which was intriguing with its drizzled Lotus Biscoff spread on top. While it had great potential, I found it to be slightly too rich for my liking; sometimes less is more! Still, itās worth trying if you enjoy indulgent flavors. One thing I noticed is that these cookies are massiveāalmost the size of my head! At around $4 each, theyāre definitely on the pricier side compared to your average cookie shop. However, given their size and unique flavors, I can see why they have such a loyal following.
I recommend visiting during their weekly flavor rotation; it adds an element of excitement to each visit! Just be prepared for some cookies that might skew towards being overly sweetāsome flavors felt like they were designed for those with a serious sweet tooth.
Overall, Crumbl Cookies is worth checking out if youāre looking to indulge in some unique and gigantic cookies. Just remember to share or save half for later because they pack quite the sugary punch! If youāre in the mood for something fun and different, this place is definitely worth a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGreat cookies and desserts. Iām addicted.
The reason it gets four stars instead of five is because theyāre supposed to finish and box your cookies when youāve checked in so itās as fresh as can beā¦
My last four orders have discouraged me from pre-ordering anymore, because Iāve gotten a notification 1-3 hours before my pick up time asking me how my experience was. When I get there right at my pick up time, my orders have indeed been boxed and waiting for me for hours, which the time printed on the box confirms.
On top of that, because their whole pick-up system is based on checking in on the app, I have to flag someone down to let them know my name isnāt gonna pop up on their check-in screen, because otherwise theyāre just bringing up orders as people check in on the app, and then leaving the counter again. I canāt check in because theyāve already done it for me way beforehand.
The local store staff doesnāt seem to know why thatās happening, so I contacted their online support and they said they have an āinvestigationā going for me, but because itās an āinternal investigationā, they say theyāll have no further information for me at any point. š¤·š»āāļø
Update: a month later, I tried to place an order a couple hours ahead of time, and yet again, they boxed the cookies way early, and the ones that were supposed to be warm were cold when I picked them up⦠and I even got there half an hour early (after I got the notification indicating they probably ignored my pick up time) to try to get them while they...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOrdered a 3 pack this morning for curbside pickup. My app glitched and told them I was there so I had to call and let them know I would be late, no problem. I got my curbside order and headed back home. When I opened the box my cinnamon roll cookie had no frosting on it. I called the store and they told me to drive back over so they could remake the cookie. I live over 20 minutes away. When I explained that the employee on the phone said well you should have told us right away that something was wrong with it. When I got home and opened the box, that was right away. Regardless I shouldn't have to quality check for you. You go to close a box and see a cookie clearly missing half of the toppings, maybe don't seal the box. I ended up having to contact corporate to receive a refund because they refused to offer one over the phone.
I normally go to the Glendale location and when they've made a mistake they have overcompensated and not only given refunds but even more cookies than I ordered next time I came. I will absolutely never visit the WeHo location again. I'd rather take the extra 15 minutes and get my order right the first time than have to be told to take two round trips. Do better as a brand...
