Monty’s Good Burger — Restaurant in Los Angeles

An absolutely delicious vegan, albeit costly experience with a few minor flaws.

Every so often you run into a place that you feel is right on the precipice of the newest trend in fast food. Monty's could be that place. We need a great plant based fast food burger joint. A place that can deliver a mouth watering burger experience, great fries and other sides, and creamy frosty shakes. Monty's could be that place. They aren't yet, but they're close. Veggie Grill is very good, but will always have to be counter service, they aren't built as a true fast food place.

I'm ready for Monty's to open a second location with a drive through. If they can pull that off, I'm going to pull together as much money as I can get and franchise locations, because a drive through vegan burger place is what Los Angeles, SF, SD, Austin and other cities of that ilk need.

Things that need fixing, price point is a little high, but I think that's because they take care of their workers, and that is prime Echo Park / Silverlake real estate. Their milkshakes need to be thoroughly stirred every time you drink it. What ever ingredients are in there, probably a coconut milk base, allows the materials to settle. Line management, it's always a long wait in the sun for your food. They have umbrellas when you've ordered, but sun shade would be great when it's 5 P.M. and the sun is setting in your eyes.

Lastly, parking on that street sucks. Don't even bother turning left into that little cul-de-sac, it's a waste of time. Just try to find street parking, or park in the lots south of...

Was Not a Crowd Pleaser today! At the North Hollywood Location on Sunset, in Echo Park... I was HIGHLY disappointed... Both My Brother, and Myself. Paper thin Burger, and 5 fry loaded fries Lmao, but facts! I was very disappointed, to be disappointed... bcz I love Monty's Good Burger so Much! The location in Korea Town. I wish that they would open back up soon! Bcz I came a huge distance from Culver City, and My Brothet from Oxnard, just to Drive from here, to way over there, only to be highly disappointed. I did let them know about how I was Not satisfied with the food today, and the Manager initiated giving us a full refund for All of the issues, but I told the Manager, it wasnt about the Money, it was so about the quality, and big satisfaction, at least for Me! I was looking forward to such a Vegan treatz after 4 long Months of Quarantining, and eating Majnly home cooked Meals... I was so excited to Make My Vegan Run to Monty's Place of the Good Burger! I really am at a lost for words in the food I received today, other than, Dry Burger...extremely thin Burger... Wheres the MEAT Burger... Stale Burger Bun... & tough Immposible Mest... Dry Fries... literally 5 Fries,for Loaded Fries, Lmao, but really! With loads of House Sauce, and A tidbit of Cheese! Gross, Gross, and MORE Gross! I was highly taken back by the Miserly quality today... as though they had cut back on lettuce, Tomatoes, and Fries! Humm... COME BACK!! Korea Location, so you dont...

Still not sure how one hamburger, a chicken sandwich, and fries totaled to be $35. That's insane. There is nothing special or "artisanal" about this food. $12 hamburger + $14 chicken sandwich = $26. How does fries + tax = $9? for the total of $35? I did not get my receipt. The sandwich prices are already overblown. I can get a vegan burger + fries at The Habit for $11.15 and that includes tax. Not sure how PLAIN fries + tax equates to $9. Again, nothing special whatsoever about these fries. This meal was low value and one of the worst choices I've made in a long time (plus sandwich bought for a friend). There's some shady cashiering going on. They MADE us choose dipping sauces. They gave us 3, one for each item on the order. Looks like we must have been charged for those though I didn't even want them because the same three items ordered online come out to like $32. Which is still inflated, these are like arena prices (no seriously, most food at Staples Center is less than this) for a patty between some bread. I pass here all the time, gave it my ONE chance, will never be back. I could have gotten a real meal at Sage instead. I even went to The Habit two days after this to compare and contrast, sorry.... that special sauce is not worth the...
